1983 TT2 - Factory Race Bike - (1 of 40) (1983)
Taglioni's final design would be the Pantah motor and TT2, together they would win (4) world championships for Ducati. In 1982 Walter Cussigh won every round of the Italian TT2 Championship and Tony Rutter won the World TT2 Championship, both on TT2's. Their TT2's used 41mm Malossi Dell'Orto Carburetors and on 16" / 18" Campoagolo wheels ... just like this one. The 600cc motor is rated to make 78 bhp at 10,500rpm. It is a original factory race bike with a properly stamped Verlicchi frame with a two digit vin #, noting its position in the order of just (40) TT2's created. It has been seen and reviewed by local, national and international renowned racers and restorers of the TT era.2013-09-03 21:05:43New York, New York, US1,80073,500.00

1990 Ducati Superbike (1990)
1990 Ducati 851 (California model, original license plate) VIN: ZDM1HB6P9LB001366 (clean California title in hand) 42,3xx miles (service history back to first service in June of 1990 at 876 miles) In the early '90s, a previous owner commuted from Sacramento to San Francisco (175 miles of highway) on this 851 and that’s where about 30k miles came from. This bike is in its prime and ready for years of continued use. It's reliable, well sorted and making excellent power.2016-10-27 04:41:57San Leandro, California, United States4240000

1990 Ducati Superbike (1990)
1990 Ducati 851 Superbike with 16975 miles and a very meticulous owner history. This is THE 851 to buy. Never raced, never damaged and never seen a track day. Recent relocation has reduced my workshop space; therefore I have reluctantly decided to put this bike up for auction. VIN: ZDM1HB6P1LB001331 Engine Number: 001285 This is one of the most exciting motorcycles I have ever ridden and owned.2016-08-01 04:54:44San Clemente, California, United States1644000

Ducati, 1990, 851 Superbike, Red, Collectible, Show Winning (1990)
I have a highly collectible, show-winning superbike for sale. I am the 4th owner of this fully documented bike with detailed maintenance logs. When I purchased this bike it had 1,800 original miles. Upon purchasing the bike, I took it to Ted’s BMW and the bike was given a complete maintenance check under the supervision of Adam Cecchini from Cecchini MotorSports. All maintenance recommendations by Ducati were competed at that time. Cecchini MortorSports did the most recent safety/maintenance check in Sept. 2013. The price reflects the care and maintenance lavished upon this bike as well as its collect-ability. You may find a cheaper 851 but you will not find a better 851. I would recommend you research the history and performance specs for this bike.2013-10-23 00:32:59Boulder Creek, California, US5,5006,100.00

1993 Ducati Superbike (1993)
For sale is my beloved 1993 Ducati 888 Sport Production (h)Omologation (SPO). She’s maintained to be a daily driver but only used when sunny and dry. For years she has never failed a 0530 work departure. Factory original bodywork and never been dropped or repaired. Every switch and lever works as intended from the factory. Belts, timing and all fluids serviced within the last 1000 miles. I also have retained a significant number of receipts from over the years. I believe I am the third owner after purchasing from a close friend who cared for her similarly. She is all original with the exception of the following: Fast by Ferracci carbon fiber exhaust Fast by Ferracci power chip Fast by Ferracci carbon fiber front fender (identical to 1994 888 SPO LTD) Fast by Ferracci fuel cap Fuel tank lined and sealed Fuel tank pad Lithium battery (Feb2016) Performance silicone blue brake and clutch lines Profiled rear fender European high power headlight Battery tender quick release plug The Ducati 888 SPO was produced for 2 years, 1993(290 units) and 1994(100 units). These models commemorate Ducati’s dominance in the FIM World Superbike Championship (WSBK). A dominance that which started in 1990 with the most notable champion, Doug Polen. In 1994, the same bike was known as the 888 SPO Limited which had two (2) known differences. A production sequence number plate attached to the triple clamp and a carbon fiber front fender. Ducati hand-built all 888s which accounted for the low production numbers, high production costs and superb build quality. Ducati replaced the 888 with the mass produced 916 which significantly increased annual production and profit margins. Although Ducati’s WSBK dominance continued with the 916, 996 and 998 single side arm variants, I am one of many that prefer the 888. Please visit the official Ducati history page for their perspective: http://www.ducati.com/history/90s/888_sbk__92_/index.do I am selling in preparation for a move that will not afford riding opportunities. This bike needs nothing but a proud new owner. Check my perfect feedback for 15 years and bid with confidence. Thank you for looking.2016-10-26 04:41:49Alexandria, VA, United States1611000

I have for sale a great used 2001 Ducati 996s. Bike has salvaged title, and I was the one that purchased the bike several years ago from an auction pool. Was a lay down with no frame damage. Has carbon fiber extras, Forza exhaust, Ohlin suspension, Marchesini wheels, Brembo brakes. Tires have great tread, and just changed oil/filter a few days ago. Bike was serviced with new timing belts installed by Del Amo Motorsports a few years back. Runs and drives awesome.2016-11-16 04:45:27Costa Mesa, California, United States1941000

2001 Ducati Superbike (2001)
Immaculate 2001 Ducati 748 with only 2,400 miles, second owner, garage kept. You will not find a more pristine example anywhere else outside of a museum or private collection. A few subtle mods to include; LED signals, fender-eliminator, EVR clutch plate, STM frame plugs, Ducabike levers and new Metzler Roadtech Z6 tires. Bike has never been on its side for any reason. The only real blemish on the bike is a couple of nicks on the lower outer portion of the right mirror as shown in pictures. Other than that this bike is in excellent condition, runs great and has been a pleasure to own. I hate to sell it but its time to move on. Belts were changed at 2,000 miles and the valves were adjusted along with a complete going over by the service tech.2016-08-29 04:52:58Slidell, Louisiana, United States24,000.00

Ducati 998 Bayliss (2001)
Raider Motorsport specialises in sourcing rare and collectible motorcycles from around the globe. Road, Off-Road, Vintage, Classic, Modern, Custom and Retro, if it’s unusual, uncommon or unobtainable, chances are we have one or know where to find one. This auction is for a stunning 2001 build Ducati 998 Bayliss Race Replica. Sold new in the USA and imported by Raider Motorsport, this bike has undergone compliance for registration in Oz. The original owner personalised the bike with an array of Ducati specialist accessories, but all have been removed and replaced with oem items, making this bike a beautifully original example. Only 400 Bayliss' were produced and seldom do they appear on the market; they always command high prices and continue to escalate in value. We do have the bike advertised elsewhere and therefore reserve the right to end the auction early. For further information and assistance please feel welcome to contact.2013-09-26 22:19:48Mid-North Coast, NSW, AU4,80115,000.00

Ducati 996R - 1,781 Miles - 135hp - (1 of 500) Worldwide (1 of 100) in USA (2001)
The big deal about the 996R was the first ever use of the testastretta (narrow head) engine which went on to power the 998 and the 999 series after it. The narrower, 25º included valve angle finally freed the combustion chamber from what was still essentially the 851 based Desmo quattro engine. The bike is essentially a 996SPS rolling chassis with the new engine, the 996R was the homoligation model that allowed the engines use in racing for Ducati. There were some changes such as upgraded brakes and the removal of the side fairing vent for aerodynamic reasons. MOTOR - The 996R's peak output in homologated guise is a claimed 135ps at 10,200rpm at the crankshaft - 13ps more at 200rpm less than the 996SPS. FRAME - To create the 996R, Ducati focused most attention on the new engine, and slotted it into the same tubular-steel spaceframe as the SPS - itself derived from Foggy's racebike.2013-09-05 18:01:30New York, New York, US1,80024,999.00

2025 Ducati Panigale V4S Review – First Ride
Mon, 16 Sep 2024Ducati’s flagship is the beneficiary of MotoGP input Photos by Alex Photo MotoGP has been called the Ducati Cup in recent years because the brand takes up a third of the grid – and they’re all usually at the front. Granted, I suppose the kind of criticism is warranted if you like a little variety with your racing, but the reason behind all those bikes is more nuanced than just wanting to steal the show. Ostensibly, team boss Gigi D’alligna’s job was to bring Ducati back to the top.
2024 Ducati DesertX Rally Review – First Ride
Wed, 13 Mar 2024Rallying the troops for a rip through Morocco Photos by Alex Photo. Not having children of my own, nor many in my close circle for that matter, I forget how seeing the unadulterated enthusiasm and joy from a child can brighten up one’s entire day. Of course, when it’s due to a group of motorcycles roaring through their small town in the desert outside Marrakech, that joy makes an incredible experience that much more memorable.
2024 Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono Review – First Ride
Wed, 14 Feb 2024Watch out KTM – Ducati’s coming for you Photo: Alex Photo KTM, consider yourself on watch because Ducati is coming for you, and it’s coming for you with this: the 2024 Hypermotard 698 Mono. One look and you can tell the Hyper Mono is aimed squarely at the KTM 690 SMC R, the supermoto inspiration is obvious to all, and now there’s suddenly an arms race in a category that’s been one-sided for years. Sure, the street-legal supermoto scene may be a small niche, but we all know it’s a recipe for getting your license taken away in no time – all with a giant smile on your face.
2023 Ducati Streetfighter V2: 5 Things You Need To Know
Thu, 14 Dec 2023Don’t sleep on the baby Streetfighter – here are 5 important details about it When Ducati first introduced its original Streetfighter with the 1098 engine in 2009… I hated it. Other than being nice to look at, the riding characteristics were horrible. Oddly enough, when the 848 version was introduced, somehow it was a little more enjoyable to ride.

Sun, 22 Oct 2023A Panigale wrapped in Multistrada clothing – and we're one of only three in the world to ride it. Photo/Video: Alex Photo The arc of the aging sportbike rider goes a little something like this: In their youth, going fast and taking chances is the name of the game. Sportbikes are the status symbol that fulfills this desire and is the closest thing to a two-wheeled land missile they can get their hands on.

The DesertX is like that one friend you know is always down for some sort of mischief – more partner-in-crime than just a partner.

2023 Ducati Scrambler Icon Review – First Ride
Tue, 18 Apr 2023Reinventing an Icon The Iberian Peninsula has had its struggles through the past some hundreds of years. From folks mastering the silk trade, to those who wanted the money made from it, any region that’s been populated for so long is bound to have a history of its people standing up against encroaching armies wanting to take what’s not theirs. The kind folks who invited me to such a place have a history of perseverance in the face of adversity, too.
