I've decided to sell my 1999 Ducati 748, the timing belts and battery were just replaced this year and oil changed, the headlights were upgraded to HID and the taillight upgraded to integrated LED's for safety, both levers are CRG adjustable shorties and the body panels are new tricolor Ducati Corse with only one tiny 1/4" scratch right under the gas tank on the small panel (see the pic's). The bike has very low miles and runs great with no issues and it was always garaged. 2008 Ducati 1098s (2008)
2008 1098s in very nice shape. Bike has never been raced or put down. I bought the bike from a state trooper and have only put a little over a thousand miles on it since I've owned it. I am a very conservative rider and have never come close to riding this bike to its potential. I bought it as kind a novelty as I love Ducati's, but I have several other bikes already and need the room and the money so this one needs to go. The bike has the following add ons: Full Termignoni Exhaust with race ECU and air filter Open clutch cover Aftermarket pressure plate (Barnet) Throttlemeiser Powder coated swing arm and foot peg assemblies (satin black) Ducati Performance superpole seat Puig double bubble windscreen Ducati Performance reverse pattern shifter Custom vinyl wrap on front and rear (can be easily removed if you don't like it and paint is pristine underneath) Carbon rear hugger The bike runs and sounds incredible and the dry clutch sounds awesome as well. The front tire has roughly 300 miles on it and the rear has around 1500. The bike is roughly 500 miles past the recommended 7500 mile dealer service. The oil has been changed regularly though and bike has been maintained nicely. The chain gets serviced every 300-500 miles. I'm not going to say it is perfect as someone will always find flaws, but it is very nice and above average condition. I looked at lots of these before buying this one and it was by far the nicest one I looked at. I traveled 550 miles each way to pick it up and it was well worth it. Tue, 20 Nov 2012Ducati has named Bernhard Gobmeier the new general manager of Ducati Corse, handing the former BMW Superbike racing director the reins to the company’s racing program. Gobmeier replaces Filippo Preziosi (pictured above) who will be reassigned to the post of director of research and development for Ducati, shifting his focus from racing to developing new products. The personnel change carries two storylines.

Mon, 12 Nov 2012Over the last several months, Ducati fans have been pouring over a number of spy photos and debating whether the new model pictured was a Hypermotard or a Multistrada. The answer, it turns out, is a bit of both, with Ducati revealing the new Hyperstrada at the 2012 EICMA Show alongside a new liquid-cooled Hypermotard. Like the new Hypermotard, the 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada is equipped with an 821cc version of the liquid-cooled Testastretta 11-degree engine.

Unveiled at the 2012 EICMA Show, the 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale R is based on the S model but with lighter components, ABS standard, a higher-revving engine, an adjustable swingarm pivot and full race kit. The Panigale R’s 1198cc engine receives new titanium con-rods Ducati claims shaves 1.38 pounds off the overall weight.

Mon, 29 Oct 2012As the Ducati Factory World Superbike team finalizes its plans for the introduction of the 1199 Panigale into the series, two things are certain: 2011 champion Carlos Checa will be the team’s lead rider, and Team Althea Racing, who have worked with Ducati since 2010, will not be the team’s sponsor. The first bit of news shouldn’t be a surprise, as Checa has been helping the Bologna factory develop the Panigale since mid-year.Checa won the 2011 championship with a masterful display of domination on the 1198, a model many believed to be dated and an underdog before the season began. Details of Checa’s new contract with Ducati have yet to be released other than his role in continuing to develop the 1199 and being the team’s lead rider next year.

Ducati Reports 24% Growth in North America in Q3 2012
