Ducati Superbike description

I'm selling my all-time favorite bike.

This is a 2002 Ducati 998s Ben Bostrom limited edition super bike. It is built to commemorate Ben Bostrom's 998 and is signed by him on the gas tank with a clear coat on top. There were only 155 of these built. This is number 151.

Unlike the Troy Bayliss edition with 400 produced, the Ben Bostrom edition is much more rare and only seen in magazines or online. I've never seen one on the road or at exhibitions.

This bike is totally fresh with a new lithium battery, brand new tires and fluids. It will ship with the stock exhaust, stock clutch plate and cover. Those in the picture are not included in this auction. Some of the stock highlights are carbon fairings, Ohlins forks, Ohlins rear and Ohlins steering damper. It has a carbon chain guard and a carbon license plate assembly.

There is a small scrape on the back fairing that happened when I swung my foot over the back the first time.

These bikes are appreciating quickly so this is your rare chance to get one.

This is the bike that even the Ducati dealer walks out to check it out.

Ducati Restructures Presence in India, Cutting Ties with Distributor Precision Motor

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

Ducati announced it is ending its relationship with importer Precision Motor and setting up its own operations in India. Precision Motors has been Ducati’s official importer since 2008, but the relationship has soured recently with reports of poor customer service and delays in deliveries. Ducati will now begin establishing its own dealer network in India, likely relying on the resources of parent company Audi and other Volkswagen Group brands.

The lounge inhabits a two-floor, 4,400 square-foot unit in the Dubai mall.

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
