BMW K1200LT - Great Condition LOW MILES - 50 MPG (1999)
BMW K 1200 LT MOTORCYCLE – LOW MILES – NO RESERVE For sale is a 1999 BMW K 1200 LT in Very Good Condition. I am selling all of my bikes, because I am getting older and don’t get out that often. I have owned 7 bikes, and this one is by far my favorite. It easily handles two passengers and all of the luggage you can handle. I purchased this bike 5+ years ago, and have probably put an average of 600 miles on it per year. The tires and brakes are in excellent shape and working condition. The hard cases are in great shape and perfect working condition. I have taken excellent care of this bike, which has been garaged and covered when not in use. I have also changed the oil and filters regularly. Also included, are all of the items needed for the next service (oil, oil filter, oil filter tool, and air filter). I am also including a newer cover to shield the bike from dust and the elements. This bike is in the exact same condition that I purchased it. There are several markings on the bike that most people don’t notice. When I purchased the bike, I was making aware the cruise control occasionally disengages. Although this has happened a handful of times, it has never been enough of an issue to warrant attention (see last pictures). As NOTED ABOVE, EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE BIKE IS IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER. Engine and transmission Displacement: 1171.00 ccm (71.45 cubic inches) Engine type: In-line four, four-stroke Power: 98.00 HP (71.5 kW)) @ 7000 RPM Torque: 115.00 Nm (11.7 kgf-m or 84.8 ft.lbs) @ 4750 RPM Top speed: 198.0 km/h (123.0 mph) 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph): 4.600 seconds 60-140 km/h (37-87 mph), highest gear: 16.500 seconds Compression: 10.8:1 Bore x stroke: 70.5 x 75.0 mm (2.8 x 3.0 inches) Cooling system: Liquid Gearbox: 5-speed Transmission type, final drive: Shaft drive (cardan) Fuel consumption: 0.62 litres/100 km (161.3 km/l or 379.39 mpg) Greenhouse gases: 14.4 CO2 g/km.2013-09-04 07:51:26Muscatine, Iowa, US49,6034,695.00

1991 BMW K-Series (1991)
1991 BMW K75s This bike is a great survivor. It is far from a show bike, but a good, well-maintained driver. I have owned the bike for about 5 years and put about 5000 miles on it. These bikes are rare, smooth sport touring machines and are very reliable. They have aluminum fuel tanks so no worries about rust in the fuel system. They are shaft drive and fuel-injected. It always starts at the push of the button. Tires are Metzler Lasers and are in good shape. This bike has had regular oil changes and air filter replacements. I am not sure how accurate the odometer is as far as original miles, but it works. As I said, the paint is not perfect and the Corbin seat shows wear, but it is a special old BMW that needs to be passed to another good home.2016-06-30 04:51:03Humboldt, Iowa, United States173,750.00

2008 BMW K1200S (2008)
2008 BMW K1200S, 23,900 miles, clear title. All maintenance & service done local at Gina’s BMW in Iowa City, IA, have all service records and receipts. I am the 2nd owner, I bought it 3 years ago from an employee at Gina’s BMW. Previous owner and I both adults with plenty of riding experience. Bike is in very good condition, and has never been dropped or laid down. It is always garage kept, on front and rear stands, and a battery tender. This bike is great for long trips, even 2-up with luggage, or short and aggressive riding on twisty roads. It has factory keyed (same as ignition) BMW expandable hard saddle bags, as well as the extra BMW factory rear luggage rack. This bike is EXTREMELY fast, and is not a bike for beginners; 1,157cc (dry sump), 150+ hp, 6 sp, shaft-drive. I have added a waterproof USB port, Remus Powercone exhaust, and K&N air filters. Tires are Michelin Pilot Pure. Factory ABS, and adjustable rear suspension. I also have a digital service manual on CD. Additional pictures and/or information available upon request. What’s The Deal With KTM Camshafts?
Fri, 18 Oct 2024Motorcycle.com digs for the truth behind the 790 camshaft hullabaloo Photo by Sebas Romero The internet can be a cruel place sometimes. Keyboard warriors, safe behind the anonymity of their computer screens, can spew words without much thought about the facts or the far reaches of where their words could be seen or heard. What’s worse, seemingly innocent or off-the-cuff remarks can be picked up by a third party and spread like wildfire.
How To Adjust the Clutch Cable on a Motorcycle
Thu, 17 Oct 2024It goes by many names: Clutch free play, clutch slack, or clutch tension describes the amount of free movement your motorcycle’s clutch lever has before it begins pulling on the clutch cable itself. Why does that matter? The clutch installed on your bike is a wear item, and as the friction plates within the clutch wear out from countless engagements and disengagements, they become thinner.

2025 Honda NT1100 Updated for Europe, but Still Not Coming Here
Fri, 04 Oct 2024More than 12,000 sold since 2022, but 0 in North America Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Honda has updated one of its most popular models in Europe, but it’s still not coming to North America. We’ve heard that refrain a lot over the years, and it’s no different for the NT1100 sport-tourer. Introduced in Europe in 2022, the NT1100 is a sport-touring model that shares much of its bones with the CRF1100L Africa Twin.
2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 – First Look
Wed, 02 Oct 2024The Svartpilen 801 has a new roadster-styled sibling, as Husqvarna announces the new “White Arrow” Vitpilen 801. Like the Black Arrow, the Vitpilen adopts the 799cc LC8c Parallel-Twin of the KTM 790 Duke, offering yet a new option to the shared platform. Ryan Adams recently reviewed the Svartpilen 801 and found it a “worthy contender in the market that brings its own unique style alongside proven performance.” That theme continues with the new Vitpilen, which brings its own take, with more aggressive ergonomics and a bright splash of color in yellow (a silver color is also available if you prefer something less flashy).
