you are buying the 1985 Honda VF1000R motorcycle seen in pics. if you are looking at this then you know what it is.  i bought this a few years ago from a local guy with plans to restore back to original condition.

 I am selling my 1976 Honda CB 400F Super Sport.  The bike is a well-maintained survivor with just under 14,000 miles.  The bike has always been garage-kept.  I bought the bike from a collector in 2010; I rode it very occasionally and maintained it impeccably.  Since I've had it, I've had the carbs rebuilt and synchronized.  I've also replaced the shock seals and had the front brake master cylinder rebuilt.  The tires (Avon Road Riders) are relatively new (under 500 miles).  The chain was also replaced, and the battery is new this summer (Yuasa, of course!).  All work was done with NOS Honda parts. While the bike looks incredible for its age, it is NOT perfect; after all, it is not a restoration.  The bike does, however, have patina and character as any classic should!  The bike does not have any significant flaws that detract from its appearance or value.  The tank and exhaust have suffered no dents, and the engine is leak-free. The paint is in excellent condition.  It runs as it should, and the transmission shifts perfectly through all the gears.  I wouldn't hesitate to ride the bike anywhere.

Motor was rebuilt in 2000, bored to 1000cc, along with new clutch, new Bendix Carb.
