1984 Honda Interceptor 1000 VF (1984)
This auction is for a very mechanically sound 1984 Honda VF1000 Interceptor. Tires are two seasons old with about 2000 miles on them. New brake and clutch hoses. Pads and chain are in good shape. Upgraded rear shock with remote gas reservoir. F1 exhaust installed, the OE exhaust and tool kit also come with bike. I am the third owner, and have had it just under a year. In that time I put 2000 miles on the bike, all trouble free. In a single weekend I put about 800 miles on, traveling both Interstate and winding mountains. The motorcycle performed great. I would ride this bike any distance with no hesitation. I am selling to make room in the garage - too many toys. The bike is cosmetically nice aside from the normal wear associated with a 30 year old vehicle, and a small dent in the gas tank. She is not a museum piece but is a very good ride ready bike. I would prefer to handle this transaction face to face, but if you hire a shipper I will roll it to the end of the driveway for them. A deposit of $500 is due at the end of the auction. While we’re still waiting for a formal announcement form American Honda, it’s Canadian counterparts confirmed the XR150L will be arriving to North America.

Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
