This is a motorcycle that was rebuilt by an authorized/licensed re-builder and is sold as is. It is now 30 years old and would be suitable for a buyer who has the the ability and inclination to work on motorcycles and solve issues that could arise. It will need a new battery, front and rear tires as the ones on the bike have dry rot. Front shocks need to be rebuilt. Spare set of shocks sold with bike. Has a clean title. Bike is no longer insured or licensed. Buyer is responsible for the collection only of motorcycle from seller and payment in cash or cashier's check within 7 days of sale. Honda CBR250R Challenge Series Announced for 2012 Canadian Superbike Season

Honda Canada has officially announced a new racing series featuring its CBR250R entry-level sportbike, to be held at 2012 Canadian Superbike racing events. The new Honda CBR250R Challenge series replaces the previous CBR125R spec series and will include a double-header at each CSBK National race weekend. The series is open to riders 15-25, though riders as young as 13 may be eligible if they have competed in at least three sanctioned CBR125R events.

2013 European Junior Cup to Use Honda CBR500R

As expected, Honda announced its new CBR500R sportbike will be featured in the 2013 European Junior Cup, a single-spec racing series that competes at European rounds of the World Superbike Championship. We saw this coming when Honda announced it would supply an all new sportbike for the European Junior Cup, but the news wasn’t official until after Honda unveiled the CBR500R alongside its siblings the CB500F and CB500X at the 2012 EICMA Show. Plus this also gives us an excuse to run a 39-picture gallery of the new CBR500R after the jump.

The World Superbike Championship was off this past weekend but it looks like there will be some significant changes to the grid when the series resumes next weekend at Istanbul Park in Turkey. Veteran racer Toni Elias has quit his Moto2 team, reportedly to sign with the Red Devils Roma squad to ride the Aprilia RSV4 Factory for the remaining four rounds of the season. Elias will replace Michel Fabrizio who is reportedly unhappy with late payments from the team’s sponsors.
