Honda Interceptor description

This is a unique bike as there is only 1 year in the United States that the VFR was offered in Yellow.  It's in great shape and rides and runs just like a VFR should.  This bike has not seen a lot of miles at it has sat in a garge collecting dust.  I love the VFR's and have owned several.  This is the best running VFR so far I've owned and Fuel Injection is great to eliminate carb issues.  Bike was ridden by a previous VFR enthusiast who rode the bike at the VFR "we don't give a hoot" rally.  You can look it up on the internet and might even see a picture of this bike or my old VFR.  This is a great bike for comfort and sport and sits right in a sweet spot making riding 300-400 miles a joy and not a pain.  I paid $3,250 for the bike.  This bike is way below average mileage and you'll be hard pressed to find one in this great condition.

All deals will need to be in cash - too many scammers out on the internet.  I required a $250 deposit within 48 hours.  If you don't have the money, don't bid.  Reserve is relatively low, but need to protect my investment.  If you have questions, just send me a message and I will respond within 24 hours.

Bike can be seen, but unless you have cash there are no joy rides.  You can ride this bike home, and would be a great start to enjoying a great machine.

Honda Trademarks Design for Naked CBR300R

Thu, 06 Mar 2014

Earlier this week, we uncovered Kawasaki‘s design trademark for a naked version of its 250cc single-cylinder Ninja RR Mono. It now looks like Kawasaki isn’t the only Japanese manufacturer with a small-displacement naked model on the way. Honda has registered a trademark on the design for a new motorcycle that appears to be a naked CBR300R or CBR250R.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

Honda has patented a technical solution from the arsenal of the Gold Wing tourer.

Thu, 02 Apr 2020

The modern Honda Gold Wing is equipped with a double wishbone front suspension, which not only increases ride comfort, but also allows the geometry of the motorcycle not to change during acceleration and braking. Lever suspension, which stabilizes the bahavior, may appear on other models of the company in the future. This is hinted at by patent images of similar systems integrated into the design of completely different motorcycles - the “classic” CB1100 and the small-capacity C125 Super Cub.
