Stunning Honda CR 500 Oh Yeah! I'm told this is an early Service Honda AF 500, started life as a brand new Honda CR 250 frame and fitted with a brand new CR 500 engine for power to weight ratio that is as good as it gets in a dirt bike - an absolute rocket ship (beginners need not apply)! Bike has less than 20 hours and then only ridden on blacktop road, around a field and never in the mud. It spent most of its life sitting in a gentleman's private museum. The bike is essentially a brand new bike, it really is beautiful. Why pay over $12,000.00 for a new Service Honda AF 500 when you can buy this one for much less? All fluids have just been flushed and changed with fresh BelRay Dot 4 brake fluid, Blue Ice radiator coolant, Honda transmission oil on and on. Brand spanking new Dunlop tires, the other ones had only the corners rounded from the blacktop road. New Renthal gold O-ring chain and sprockets, Race Tech tuned suspension, polished frame, original seat and plastic, Pro Circuit Pipe, FMF Power Core II Silencer, rear shock recharged with nitrogen to factory spec at 143 psi, air filter and air box spotless*. This bike is dialed in and needs absolutely nothing, it's ready to go. Rear sag is set for 175 lb rider. This bike really belongs in a showcase or something, too pretty to get dirty. 2002 CR 250 with TITLE (2002)
Up for sale is my Honda CR 250 , I purchased the bike from the original owner a while back and the bike was literally like new . I have ridden it a handfull of times and just recently replaced the original tires with brand new kendas ( 0 ride time on them ) brand new front and rear brake pads also no ride time , a d.i.d brand oring chain , brand new graphics , and acerbis front fender , protaper pillow top lite grips , oem piston rings and cometic gasket kit ( i have only done break in procedure as per hondas specifications top end has no actual riding time on it) , brand new 0 ride time maxima air filter  and i believe lastly the bike has renthal annodized red s/e bars and  full fmf exhaust on it and has been jetted accordingly. Bike is in really good condition, it does have some typical dirt bike scratches on plastics but nothing major. The fork seal on the right fork looks like it might have a small leak, should be a cheap repair, it does not affect the ride one bit. Radiator tab that holds gas tank plastic was bent by previous owner only cosmetic (can be bent back). We have not owned the bike for very long, my son outgrew it. The title is still in the name of the guy we bought it from who was the original owner (he did sign the title). 1979 Honda CR (1979)
This custom 1979/80 Honda C & J XR500 was built a few years ago and has been sitting in the garage since. Bike had about 1 hour of ride time to make sure it was mechanically sound before being stripped back down and powder coated RAL 3020 to perfectly match the VMX racing Tahitian Red plastics. Tank, frame, plastics, and custom made side panels graphics match perfectly. Every piece/part on this bike was carefully thought out to try and replicate that 1970's factory Honda Racing look. Donor bike was a very clean, well-cared for 1979 Honda XR500 from Nevada, bike showed no signs of rust or corrosion which made for a perfect parts bike for this project. Jeff Cole, from C&J Racing Frames, built this frame/swingarm, it is brand new and has been updated slightly from the earlier versions from "back in the day". I have all the proper paperwork/receipts from C&J and have a Washington State title from the donor bike. Apparently, Team Honda had several of these factory bikes built back in the day in which Johnny "O'show" O'Mara won the 1980 4 Stroke Nationals on his famous Mugen "White Bike". The tank is a dent free, restored 1978/79 CR250R Elsinore. Has new repod seat pan, foam, stainless mounts, and custom gripper seat cover. The 43mm front Showa forks have been rebuilt by EVO suspension; they are from a 1983 Honda CR250R; as well as the front wheel, front double-leading brake (best drum brake ever built), and triples. Has new Renthal bars, grips, billet kill switch, billet gas cap, RC factory replica billet tank washers, aluminum shifter, IMS wide footpegs, Works Connection hour meter, Wiseco piston (cylinder still original bore), Applied one-piece top bar clamp, Applied oil breather hose, FastGuyStuff decals, front Buchanan spokes, TM36 Mikuni flatside carb, Magura clutch/brake perches/levers, Motion Pro clutch/throttle cables, DC Plastics transluscent front brake/fork covers and mud flap, Sunstar aluminum sprocket, Renthal Gold chain, VMX Racing billet chain guide, NOS Supertrapp, custom stainless steel mid pipe and I believe a used White Bros. exhaust. The hubs, top triple clamp, and DID corrosion free rims were powder coated a semi-gloss black. Bike has many new OEM and aftermarket nuts/bolt. The very best Works Performance rear shocks were custom built just for this bike. Bike handles awesome; feels and handles like a newer bike, even through the whoops! I spent many, many hours building this bike to the highest standard. I've had many compliments on this build. The day I test rode it at the track it attracted a lot of interest in the pit. While we wait for Honda to officially reveal the the bike, we’ve managed to get further specifications for the 2023 Honda Hornet, thanks to vehicle certification data from Switzerland. The Swiss data lines up with what Honda has already revealed about the Hornet, including its 755cc Parallel-Twin Unicam engine and its claimed output of 90.5 hp at 9500 rpm, 55.3 lb-ft.
