    I have a Honda 480, 1982, 4 speed transmission, motor built by the late Gary Schekell, new tires, wheel bearings, brake pads, new chain, seat cover, bars, levers, some cables, Moose pad, mostly original plastic in decent shape. If you need parts there are plenty available for this model and year, that's why I picked it for vintage.I am 61 and getting too old for vintage MX. I drained the carb and taped the pipe last fall, garage stored. The bike needs to find a new rider.

    This is the Elsinore, the Red Rocket Motorcycle. This is a dream bike for anyone wanting to race AHRMA or for a restoration it just needs a little love. It's a  lightweight great handling fast motorcycle.  The bike is complete missing only an OEM seat and front number plate.  Features OEM front and rear fenders and side plastics, but please note all plastic pieces do have some scratches. Tires are really nice both front and rear The engine is complete. The original tank is really nice and clean inside and out.  Prior to storage the carburetor was emptied as well as the gas tank.

    Up for bid is this 1980 CR 125 R .Etremely Clean and built from the frame up.Motor was built by Ohio motorsports Ray Dunaway.This bike has never been raced was rode in the field just to break in. Forks and shocks have all been rebuilt by OMS Racing.The only significant problem I have found is a crack in the gas tank about 3 inchs long that does not go all the way thru(this was just discovered) Any other questions pls ask.This Bike run perfectly!!!     Up for bid is a great example of a vintage elsinore.Bike looks mostly original but does have a period correct aftermarket dg head.Bike starts first kick but boggs out some and hard to start after it’s warm.Shifting through the gears is a little sloppy.Clutch and throttle could use some adjusting .It has extra parts ie: original head,coil ,rear shocks and front and rear fenders.The bike isn’t perfect but it doesn’t need a lot to be that way.Very clean bike!

    This is a race ready 1979 Honda Cr 125. This is in excellent condition and runs great. I purchased  this from a friend of mine whose daughter raced it and then lost interest. This has had a complete rebuild with new bearings, top end, gaskets, seals last winter and has not been raced and was ridden very little since the rebuild. The motor was completely gone thru and anything that needed replaced was. It has new Works Performance TR shocks on it which will have to be adjusted if you weigh more then 150lbs.

    This custom 1979/80 Honda C & J XR500  was built a few years ago and has been sitting in the garage since.  Bike had about 1 hour of ride time to make sure it was mechanically sound before being stripped back down and powder coated RAL 3020 to perfectly match the VMX racing Tahitian Red plastics.  Tank, frame, plastics, and custom made side panels graphics match perfectly.  Every piece/part on this bike was carefully thought out to try and replicate that 1970's factory Honda Racing look.  Donor bike was a very clean, well-cared for 1979 Honda XR500 from Nevada, bike showed no signs of rust or corrosion which made for a perfect parts bike for this project.  Jeff Cole, from C&J Racing Frames, built this frame/swingarm, it is brand new and has been updated slightly from the earlier versions from "back in the day".  I have all the proper paperwork/receipts from C&J and have a Washington State title from the donor bike. Apparently, Team Honda had several of these factory bikes built back in the day in which Johnny "O'show" O'Mara won the 1980 4 Stroke Nationals on his famous Mugen "White Bike".  The tank is a dent free, restored 1978/79 CR250R Elsinore.  Has new repod seat pan, foam, stainless mounts, and custom gripper seat cover.  The 43mm front Showa forks have been rebuilt by EVO suspension; they are from a 1983 Honda CR250R; as well as the front wheel, front double-leading brake (best drum brake ever built), and triples.  Has new Renthal bars, grips, billet kill switch, billet gas cap, RC factory replica billet tank washers, aluminum shifter, IMS wide footpegs, Works Connection hour meter, Wiseco piston (cylinder still original bore), Applied one-piece top bar clamp, Applied oil breather hose, FastGuyStuff decals, front Buchanan spokes, TM36 Mikuni flatside carb, Magura clutch/brake perches/levers, Motion Pro clutch/throttle cables,  DC Plastics transluscent front brake/fork covers and mud flap, Sunstar aluminum sprocket, Renthal Gold chain, VMX Racing billet chain guide, NOS Supertrapp, custom stainless steel mid pipe and I believe a used White Bros. exhaust. The hubs, top triple clamp, and DID corrosion free rims were powder coated a semi-gloss black. Bike has many new OEM and aftermarket nuts/bolt.  The very best Works Performance rear shocks were custom built just for this bike.  Bike handles awesome; feels and handles like a newer bike, even through the whoops!  I spent many, many hours building this bike to the highest standard.  I've had many compliments on this build.  The day I test rode it at the track it attracted a lot of interest in the pit.  This is about as good as it get's for a C&J XR500.  AHRMA, Horsepower Factory, HPF

    Many people consider the 1970's to be the heyday of motocross in the USA. There were countless places to race and bike sales and interest in the sport were at their greatest height.   Development of engine performance and suspension were improving dramatically during this time period.  High performance hop-up shops like DG Performance and the Flying Machine Factory (FMF) were able to develop parts rapidly and create privateer machinery that could compete with the best Works bikes offered by the Japanese manufacturers.  This particular 1976 Honda CR125 Elsinore bristles with the innovative ideas that make FMF products the most collectible vintage items sold on Ebay today.   The early '74-'75 FMF products seem to appear quite often for sale, but the later '76-'78 FMF parts have become a bit of a unicorn with very few parts ever offered.    The 77' FMF Porky Head (This particular head has Don Elmer's name engraved underneath) is larger than the earlier FMF heads and often commands a price close to 1k.  The FMF Gorilla Arm swingarm is incredibly light weight and is virtually impossible to find for sale anywhere.  This one is polished. Not many of these on any of the FMF type bikes. But this has the original.
