My very clean 1978 BMW R80/7 w/ 42,200k miles, all completely stock except for hand grips, carbon brake lines. European handlebars, luggage tailpiece and hard side bags in good shape. Very dependable, smooth, easy starting. Tank has scrape on left side from a tipover in my garage when it hit another bike's handlebar. Not a show bike, but original paint and nice looking. Some bolts oxidizing, but otherwise quite nice. Some wear on the seat sides but otherwise intact (see pict) Relatively new front tire and battery (changed in last 6 months). All lights, guages and switches working, rides nicely, tuned well, vibration-free, and sounds great. Have owned bike 4 years, mostly use as weekend getaway bike. I am the second owner purchased through a 3rd party after first owner put the bike down. Nose panel, right side logo panel, mirror and side case were replaced. Also swapped out the following parts from a 2006 bike with 24000 miles to upgrade existing: rotors, final drive, ESA shock. Cases have some scratches as does the right valve cover. Locks do not match on cases but can be rekeyed. Cruise control switch does not work but cruise is on and works as should. Otherwise, bike has been very well maintained. I drove last year for 3000 miles with absolutely no problems. Added Sargent Seat and bar risers. Seats are heated but I have not hooked up as they did not come with factory plug. Only able to put a couple hundred miles on this year and daughter in college so need to sell. Great chance to get a very good bike at a reasonable price. Excellent RT at a great price. Low miles (5800) with the 6000 mile servicing just completed which included all fluids changed including the brake fluid being flushed and replaced. This bike is fully loaded with onboard computer, ABS, ESA (electron suspension), cruise control, radio CD player, heated seat and grips, low profile seat, power windshield, chrome exhaust, GIVI top box, intercom, and 3M paint protection, alarm. 2025 Yamaha MT-07 – First Look
Thu, 24 Oct 2024Fourth-gen model receives significant updates Yamaha announced a new, fourth-generation MT-07, giving it significant updates to the styling and chassis, reducing weight, and debuting new features to its CP2 platform such as selectable ride modes and an optional automatic transmission. As of this writing, the 2025 Yamaha MT-07 has only been confirmed for Europe, but we expect the updates will also make their way to U.S. models.
