Possibly the most dependable fun to ride bike that BMW made. It completely gone over by the BMW dealer in Grand Rapids. New battery new Master cyl, tuned up ready to ride. I would not be afraid to take this bike anywhere. I have put 100,000 miles on R65's starting in 1978 and never had a problem. I would not be selling this bike but I am disabled and have to move to a trike. The bike fell down at a gas station and the odometer broke. So, the mileage has to be listed as unknown It read 27,000 miles at that time and has not been used much since. delivery is on you but if you live in Michigan I will bring it to you for free, probably drive it if I can. I honestly think this is the best open bike ever made and is just plain fun to drive.

You are bidding on a nice and very original numbers matching 1978 BMW R 80/7 motorcycle This motorcycle was pickled (all fluids drained) and stored in a garage in North Florida for over 12 years. Originally purchased in Germany by owner who was in the military so it has the kilometer speedometer instead of reading miles. Shows only 16,400 kilometers or 10,160 miles, and the condition and how it runs tells the story. It is all original except for the battery, tires and front brake hose which I replaced. It was missing and I added one of the side gas tank BMW emblems which does not have the clear factory coating. It is very nice with a few scratches and a small crack in the plastic fairing as has been pictured. The inside of the gas tank is in like new condition with its original red coating. Everything works as it should, the tires are over 10 years old and believed to date back to 2005 but have very little wear. It could use new mufflers and front shocks are a little stiff. Needs a good cleaning and detailing. The bike was first titled in the USA in April 2013 under my name and I am the second owner. I have owned it for about 3 years and only rode it about 230 kilometers since August 2013. Very original and nice motorcycle for the serious collector looking for originality and low miles. Original factory paint and pinstriping. Missing the tool box and tool kit. It comes with its original German issue owners manual which is somewhat weathered from humidity but pages are readable. For sale is my like new 2016 BMW R1200RS. This is the exciting new model that is both a continuation of the BMW RS tradition and a departure from the latest BMW touring bikes. One would expect a stripped down RT with all the touring amenities and the telelever front suspension, but instead BMW based the RS on the latest R1200R, so a standard fork is fitted to the front and lightness is the key: no motorized adjustable windshield, even the saddlebags are lighter than the touring bikes. It turns out that at my age, I need to be riding a couch, so I should have gotten an RT. For all the info you need on this new model, Revzilla has an excellent review. Fully loaded with all available options, the Touring Package, Keyless Ride, GPS prep and Gear Assist Pro. As options, the bike comes with OEM hard saddlebags and engine guards. Ninja joins Versys in getting a bigger engine Earlier this week, we confirmed engine details about a new Kawasaki Versys 1100, and found signs that suggest its 1,099cc Inline-Four engine will also be powering a replacement for the Ninja 1000SX. Motorcycle.com can now confirm that a Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX is on the way. Once again, homologation filings from Australia, where we first came across the evidence for the Versys 1100 are a font of knowledge.

A sportier Modern Classic is on the way Triumph has released teasers for a new addition to its Modern Classics lineup, which we believe to be a 2025 Speed Twin RS. No announcement date was provided, but we suspect the full reveal will be coming in the next month or so.
