1977 Yamaha DT250 Enduro Dual Purpose street legal two stroke (1977)
Here we have my 1977 DT250. I bought to cruise around on..,,and that never happened. The bike appears to have been painted at some time. The seat has been recovered, has a small tear. The recover job is marginal at best. The bike has been sitting for a year. The tank has surface rust inside of it and needs a chemical treatment and a seal. It ran perfect a year ago, but the carb will need cleaned now. I have an open title from the original owner. The bike came from california.2013-10-19 00:38:30Hagerstown, Maryland, US2,1001,000.00

1977 Yamaha Other (1977)
I got a couple of old Yami's that I'm looking to get rid of. They're 70's enduros. The red one runs and rides. Has new tires and tubes as of last year. Also put on a new seat cover. It stops like you would think a 40 year old bike with drum brakes does.... Poorly. It runs good, kind of a cold blooded bastard. But its a lot of fun, pretty dang peppy. My buddies and I thought it would be cool to do up a couple old bikes and ride them so that's what we did. They soon realized that we're old and have kids and wives so it's hard to get out and ride them. This bike has sat since last fall and I went out last week and gave it a couple kicks and it fired right up. I took a couple laps around the property and put it back in the barn. So yes it does run, shifts through all the gears.2016-08-26 04:50:06Montague, Michigan, United States5600.00

1977 Yamaha RD400Bike has been in inside storage for several years .It will start and run but needs tuned . Can be stubborn starting from sitting .Tires will need replaced ...rear brakes don't work ..brake fluid has ran out while in storage .Im sure it's going to need tune up ect .it was project but now it's eating up space I need in garage .I have cleaned carbs out and put in new battery. It is sold strictly as-is absolutely no warranty .It needs gone over but is fairly clean for a 40 year old bike.I have a clear Ohio title in my name.prefer cash payment local pickup only ...can be looked at by appointment .it is for sale locally ..I reserve the right to end auction early if sells before end of auction . Here is a link to hear it running 10/21/16 https://youtu.be/buFQrrKH-1o On Oct-22-16 at 20:17:59 PDT, seller added the following information: When I got it years ago I pulled the tank ...and have kept it inside house through out it sitting but neglected to drain carbs .they have been cleaned out and have new float bowl gaskets now .2016-10-23 04:38:30Springfield, Ohio, United States211,999.00

1977 RD400 (1977)
A very recent paint job and a complete overhaul/restoration befitting a bike that already logged 25 years in a toy store of a private collector. There is not a speck of dirt on this bike and to my knowledge the only aftermarket parts on this bike are the mirrors. There is a small tiny scrape on the tip of the fender.Evidence of use in a past life. The tachometer is in need of a rebuild but it still functions. Both gauges look great and it is evident that this bike has a few years spent indoors in the air conditioning. The seat appears to be original but i am not sure of this history. There is a small tear at the underside of the seat pan that can,t be seen without raising the seat.No big deal but i want full disclosure. The tool kit is not with this bike.New cables and new brakes were installed and the tires are new as well with less than a hundred miles on them. This bike is too fun to leave sitting. It did get ridden but never enough. The low miles on it is evidence of the limited use of this beautiful gem from our past. There is a small ding on the right side pipe.I will show the ding in the pictures.these pipes have a small spot here and there but you have to hunt to find a flaw on them.they are in great condition and have cleaned up very nice.No rust anywhere on this bike anywhere ever. The frame and engine numbers match for all of you investors and collectors out there. This bike is a very nice example of a rd from our childhoods. It is perfect in my opinion but you need to look for yourself.Ask questions.Everything works. We do not sell garbage! I price them fair. The work is already done on this one.Fly in and ride it home.If you would like more pics or need to talk feel free to contact me.2013-09-05 08:25:43Boca Raton, Florida, US15,6114,500.00

2024 Yamaha MT-09 SP Review – First Ride
Wed, 28 Aug 2024Better suspension and Track mode brings us so close to an R9 Photos by Dave Schelske As the tail rider in a train of approximately seven identical Yamahas, I couldn’t help but watch in awe as each of us weaved our way through the notorious Tail of the Dragon, bending the bike underneath us to our will through the 120-something corners, the unison of the dance mesmerizing as each of us took our turn, one by one, around each apex, at irresponsible speeds, front wheels inches away from the person in front of us. This is the kind of trust you build up after you’ve ridden with the same group of people for years on end. We all know that riding with your friends is fun.

Tue, 14 May 2024More minor changes in anticipation of the R9 Photos by Joseph Agustine. There really wasn’t a reason to update Yamaha’s MT-09. We love the MT-09, and apparently you do too – it’s been Yamaha’s best-selling MT model for a decade.
2024 Yamaha Ténéré 700 First Ride
Wed, 13 Dec 2023Small updates keep the T7 fresh, but we're still missing out on the European variants Photos by Yamaha/Joseph Agustin Photo Yamaha’s popular Ténéré 700 “T7” adventure bike returns for 2024, and while it would be easy to say it is “largely unchanged” from the 2023 model, there have been some notable changes made in response to feedback from many North American riders. One wish still unrealized: the U.S. dealers won’t be getting the up-spec World Raid and numerous other versions of the T7 the EU enjoys - at least not this year.

2024 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ Review
Thu, 17 Aug 2023Riding 950 miles across three states in two days highlights this Tracer’s capabilities Photography by Joseph Augustin New motorcycle model introductions follow a well-worn path: travel to the event location, eat nice meals, get briefed on the bike of the moment, ride a route designed to highlight the bike’s strengths, take photos/video, eat more good food, return home, and write up a review. After 27 years in this industry, I still get a cheap thrill about throwing a leg over a new motorcycle before it is available to the general public. However, what really gets me going is when I have a chance to log more than just the couple of hundred miles typically covered in an intro and spend some real time on the road with said bike.
2023 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ Review – First Ride
Thu, 18 May 2023Yamaha’s sports tourer middleweight receives an influx of technology for 2023 Astute readers are probably wondering why Motorcycle.com is publishing a First Ride of a bike that’s not coming to the States this model year. Our reasoning is that, thanks to the sleuthing of Dennis Chung, we suspect the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ will be coming to the U.S. in 2024.
Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ Finally Coming to US for 2024
Thu, 06 Apr 2023Sport-tourer equipped with radar-based adaptive cruise control Last November, Yamaha Motor Europe revealed a new Tracer 9 GT+ at EICMA, a new version of its Triple-powered sport tourer equipped with a 7-inch TFT display, adaptive cruise control, and a radar-linked unified braking system. Yamaha Motor USA, however, remained quiet about it, and we later learned the Tracer 9 GT+ was not coming to the States for 2023. In fact, even the less techy regular Tracer 9 was left out of Yamaha Motor USA’s returning model announcements.
Yamaha MT-10 SP Project Bike - Update 1
Thu, 26 Jan 2023Everythings installed and initial impressions. It’s been about a month since we introduced Motorcycle.com’s 2022 Yamaha MT-10 SP semi-long-term project bike. In case you forgot the premise of this whole thing, Yamaha offered us the opportunity to hang on to an MT-10 SP for an extended period of time, and since I have a soft spot for the bike, I decided to give it some tasteful upgrades to address some key weaknesses while also unleashing some trapped potential.
