yamaha chappy 80 motorcycle scooter mini automatic hi low range 600 miles (1976)
For your consideration:unrestored 1976 600 miles on it yamaha chappy 80,bought this cutie 10 years ago,cruised it for a few hundred miles on the weekends,camping,car shows etc.i noticed the tires were starting to dry rot a little(not bad for as old as it is!)and simply stopped driving it.nothing has ever been replaced on this scooter ever other than the battery.it still sports the original tires,chain sprockets,seat etc.nothing has been replaced the tires and tubes even though original still hold air fine and have good tread and can be ridden now(makes sense to put new tires on it if you plan on driving this alot)only issues are one missing mirror,two reflector brackets on tag bracket are cracked off,paint around headlight ears peeled a little,chrome is dingy, not pitted but needs buffing.This ride is not perfect and has a few minor nicks but not bad for its age.This baby is a rider now;no running issues,no shifting problems,put a new battery in it or not goes great the way it is,runs alot faster then my friends chappy 50 and runs away from my other friends honda ruckus.Good luck bidding,Pick-up only,will deliver if you are within a half day away or can meet with agreed upon delivery terms.PAY-PAL must be clear to my bank account or no delivery or pick-up.Or bring the cash.Clear Title.ask questions,dont bid if i am too far away from you.Great rider,collection addition,display?2013-10-23 00:26:23Durango, Colorado, US600749.00 -

Let me start off first by saying I DO NOT have a title, Ebay doesn't have an option for that. I will supply a bill of sale. The frame and engine #'s are the same making this a numbers matching bike. This little Yamaha is in very nice condition, I was told that the top end has been rebuilt with very few miles, by looking at it I would have to agree. It runs great, all of the electrical functions work...even the electric start. It will need a new battery. Comes with tool kit and I have a brand new points cover coming that will come with the bike. Tires and brakes are fine, chrome is also in above average condition. Front fender has some bumps and bruises, the rest of the paint is pretty good for a 50 year old bike. For sale is a very good to excellent original 1971 Yamaha HS-1B 90cc 2-stroke twin. Bike is in original unrestored, but very unmolested and great looking and running condition. 45 year old bike has normal nicks and some light surface corrosion patina on rear light bracket, but not much else.. Motor starts and runs great, with an awesome 2-stroke twin sound. Carbs are clear and run great at idle, low, mid, and full throttle. Motor pulls great once warmed up and is totally stock. Original Yamalube oil tank and pump work perfectly and oil injection not a concern here. Original twin chrome mufflers in excellent to pristine shape, best I've seen and all baffles intact, no rust. Wed, 13 Dec 2023Small updates keep the T7 fresh, but we're still missing out on the European variants Photos by Yamaha/Joseph Agustin Photo Yamaha’s popular Ténéré 700 “T7” adventure bike returns for 2024, and while it would be easy to say it is “largely unchanged” from the 2023 model, there have been some notable changes made in response to feedback from many North American riders. One wish still unrealized: the U.S. dealers won’t be getting the up-spec World Raid and numerous other versions of the T7 the EU enjoys - at least not this year.

2024 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ Review
Thu, 17 Aug 2023Riding 950 miles across three states in two days highlights this Tracer’s capabilities Photography by Joseph Augustin New motorcycle model introductions follow a well-worn path: travel to the event location, eat nice meals, get briefed on the bike of the moment, ride a route designed to highlight the bike’s strengths, take photos/video, eat more good food, return home, and write up a review. After 27 years in this industry, I still get a cheap thrill about throwing a leg over a new motorcycle before it is available to the general public. However, what really gets me going is when I have a chance to log more than just the couple of hundred miles typically covered in an intro and spend some real time on the road with said bike.

Our reasoning is that, thanks to the sleuthing of Dennis Chung, we suspect the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ will be coming to the U.S. in 2024.
Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ Finally Coming to US for 2024
Thu, 06 Apr 2023Sport-tourer equipped with radar-based adaptive cruise control Last November, Yamaha Motor Europe revealed a new Tracer 9 GT+ at EICMA, a new version of its Triple-powered sport tourer equipped with a 7-inch TFT display, adaptive cruise control, and a radar-linked unified braking system. Yamaha Motor USA, however, remained quiet about it, and we later learned the Tracer 9 GT+ was not coming to the States for 2023. In fact, even the less techy regular Tracer 9 was left out of Yamaha Motor USA’s returning model announcements.

In case you forgot the premise of this whole thing, Yamaha offered us the opportunity to hang on to an MT-10 SP for an extended period of time, and since I have a soft spot for the bike, I decided to give it some tasteful upgrades to address some key weaknesses while also unleashing some trapped potential.

When I asked him how long I could have it, he basically shrugged his shoulders and winked.
