1986 Yamaha BW80 BW 80 BIGWHEEL 80 BIG WHEEL 80 FAT TIRE FATCAT VINTAGE ENDURO (1986)
Super nice clean restored 1986 Yamaha bigwheel 80. Frame was sandblasted and painted, pretty much everything else was sandblasted and powdercoated, swingarm, handlebars, mounts, triple trees, levers etc. Installed new seat cover, handlebar pad, and chain and sprockets. New OEM style graphics, new front and rear fenders. New fork seals and oil, new engine oil. New wiseco piston and rings. Every bolt and nut was cleaned and coated. Carburator cleaned with new needle valve, and air cleaner. Bikes runs and drives like new, and looks as good as new. These Bigwheels are getting harder to find and this one is like new. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end, fullpayment due within 48 hours of auction close, anything other then that must be talked about ahead of time. 1982 Yamaha Maxim 550cc 17,973 Miles Title Has A Lean On It. (1982)
Here is a 1982 Yamaha Maxim 550 with 17,973 miles on it,I have a Title for the bike but theres a lean on it and the seller paid off the lean but the lean release card is lost,i purchased the bike from a party who purchased the bike with a lean on the title and the seller said the seller who sold it to him never sent the lean release to him because he lost it and said he would go to the bank and get another one but didnt,some banks or credit unions will write one up if a party walks in with title in hand but some wont i havent tried it with this one,bike has been sitting in a garage for two years it fired today when i sprayed starting fluid in the airbox but didnt start and had to use a charger on the battery that needs to be replaced,carbs probably need cleaning before it will run,has spark,tank is clean inside,brakes work,clutch lever pulls in,tranni shifted threw the gears with my hand,throttle and choke move freely,the lock for the seat is missing,selling as is although i dont see anything wrong with the bike,buyer pays shipping and finds there own shipper if one is needed not sure there prices i can meet them at my door and i dont really have the room to store the bike after the auction ends,paypal accepted as payment if your not local,auction may end early because a watcher on ebay might want to purchase the bike before the auction ends,Thanks for looking and good luck bidding Carl in forest lake minnesota 55025.2013-09-05 01:37:50Forest Lake, Minnesota, US17,97383.00 -

Wed, 28 Aug 2024Better suspension and Track mode brings us so close to an R9 Photos by Dave Schelske As the tail rider in a train of approximately seven identical Yamahas, I couldnt help but watch in awe as each of us weaved our way through the notorious Tail of the Dragon, bending the bike underneath us to our will through the 120-something corners, the unison of the dance mesmerizing as each of us took our turn, one by one, around each apex, at irresponsiblespeeds, front wheels inches away from the person in front of us. This is the kind of trust you build up after youve ridden with the same group of people for years on end. We all know that riding with your friends is fun.

One wish still unrealized: the U.S. dealers wont be getting the up-spec World Raid and numerous other versions of the T7 the EU enjoys - at least not this year.

Thu, 17 Aug 2023Riding 950 miles across three states in two days highlights this Tracers capabilities Photography by Joseph Augustin New motorcycle model introductions follow a well-worn path: travel to the event location, eat nice meals, get briefed on the bike of the moment, ride a route designed to highlight the bikes strengths, take photos/video, eat more good food, return home, and write up a review. After 27 years in this industry, I still get a cheap thrill about throwing a leg over a new motorcycle before it is available to the general public. However, what really gets me going is when I have a chance to log more than just the couple of hundred miles typically covered in an intro and spend some real time on the road with said bike.

Thu, 06 Apr 2023Sport-tourer equipped with radar-based adaptive cruise control Last November, Yamaha Motor Europe revealed a new Tracer 9 GT+ at EICMA, a new version of its Triple-powered sport tourer equipped with a 7-inch TFT display, adaptive cruise control, and a radar-linked unified braking system. Yamaha Motor USA, however, remained quiet about it, and we later learned the Tracer 9 GT+ was not coming to the States for 2023. In fact, even the less techy regular Tracer 9 was left out of Yamaha Motor USAs returning model announcements.
