Purchased in the crate from Suzuki and stored in a climate controlled garage. Just out of the crate this March, 0 hours. Pictures tell the story. Comes complete with owner's kit with service manual and side stand. This is a brand new bike at a used price. There is no KBB or NADA book value to refer to because it is; NEW. Parts value is easily over $8,000. Check ebay sellers of unused parts from similar bikes for verification. This is the bike for 99% of the riders out there who aren't Ken Roczen or another top 100 AMA Pro and who don't want to or can't, pay as much as $9,000 out the door for the latest model which shares about 85% of the same components as this bike. You CAN have a lot of fun being the first person to take it out and ride it without the expense of buying a new 2015 to 2017 for a LOT more. If you're concerned with cosmetics, an updated complete plastics kit can be found on ebay for under $120, and a black seat cover for under $40. Leggy sport tourers, or crossovers, aren’t exactly a new thing, and since bikes like the Kawasaki Versys, Yamaha Tracer 9 GT, and BMW S 1000 XR exist, there is already some healthy competition for Hamamatsu to contend with. Suzuki tells us this is its most technologically advanced motorcycle yet, making the GSX-S1000GX a sort of flagship product for the brand.

Tue, 06 Sep 2022V-Strom 1050XT gets replaced by a more capable off-road variant Suzuki announced updates for the V-Strom 1050, as well as a new off-road oriented version for 2023. The new 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 1050DE replaces the 1050XT model, and adds new features to make it a more capable off-road machine such as a 21-inch front wheel, longer-stroke suspension, and a larger aluminum bash plate. Both models remain powered by a 1037cc V-Twin engine, but for 2023, Suzuki introduced new hollow sodium-filled exhaust valves, claiming reduced temperature in the combustion chamber, and thus improved efficiency and durability.
