    This is a great example of a classic 1977 KZ650 B, I bought this bike in 2010 and I'm the 3rd owner, It has always been kept indoors and has never seen bad weather, The two gentlemen that owned if before me were older guys and I just turned 56 myself. The bike is mostly original except for the paint, It was professionally painted before I bought it, It is very close to the original red but with a little more metal flake. As you can see from the photos it is gorgeous.

    Here's your chance to have a very nice original old school cruiser. Has all of the Vetter hardware that came with these bikes back in the day.  The bike runs fine, I just took it for a 80 mile ride yesterday, everything works as it should.  It has a brand new battery but will need tires.  The seat has a split seam in the center and a mar on the right side from opening against it.  Some of the paint is a little faded but overall condition.  The right hand exhaust pipe has some bluing caused by a bad coil which has been replaced.  Overall this bike is in nice condition, it certainly could take you anywhere you want to go.  If you have any questions feel free to call me. 517-242-7780 Thanks, Dave

    I bought this a few years ago on a quest to own every year GPZ-550, found out after I bought it that the motor was seized, I have most if not all the parts, I do have a clear title in hand and I am sure that someone looking for pieces for their GPZ 550 could find a bunch of valuable pieces in this basket case... I am clearing house and getting rid of ALL my projects in hopes of buying a new motorcycle to ride.  The bike is sitting on a steel pallet and can be picked up at a motorcycle shop west side of the Minneapolis Metro area.  They have a fork lift there.  I will not arrange shipping but can coordinate pick up by freight company.    I have a short window to sell and get it moved out of storage, so please be prepared to arrange pick up ASAP.   Happy Bidding!

Traction control and updated instruments expected The California Air Resources Board has issued an executive order for what we expect to be an updated Kawasaki Z650RS for the 2024 model year. The update is expected to be relatively minor, adding traction control to the Z650RS. The update would bring the retro RS model in line with the more modern-styled Z650 and the Ninja 650, both of which were updated with traction control for 2023, as well as the Versys 650 which received traction control in 2022.
