1978 Kawasaki Kz1000 LTD. This is a super clean, low mile (9,246), and original bike in excellent condition. Starts, runs, drives, and stops just as it should. Engine is smooth, quiet, and powerful. Does not smoke or leak oil. Original paint is shiny in excellent condition. Chrome is also excellent. Seat has no holes or tears. All electrical items work correctly. I believe the only non-original part the on bike is the front tire. An excellent example a nearly 40yr. old bike that was bought new here in town and has been well taken care of and not altered in any way. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!
