One owner, very strong running 2004 KX500, the last of the 500 cc 2-strokes. Exceptionally clean KX has six weekend trips (Imperial Sand Dunes - Glamis) since new. Work has prevented its use, but rest assured, the bike is ready to go. Just had it serviced last week and the bike still has stock compression numbers. Pro circuit pipe and rear paddle. Purchased this bike right off the showroom floor. Bike has always been garaged as you can see from the perfect plastic. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!
