Honda 1981 XR80 with XR100 engine!! NO reserve! (1981)
Honda 1981 XR80.. Plus! It has an XR100 engine with new top end (piston, rings, gaskets,valve seal). Lots of other new parts including cables, front tire, wheel bearings, chain, brakes, grips, ignition points and coil. This is a small bike with some serious torque. I'm 5'6", so a little too tall for this, I weight 150. It's got so much bottom end I can shift it up through the gears to 3rd then cruise around the yard.. you can lug it down pretty slow for a corner, then accelerate without having to down shift. It's totally fun! (It's a 5 speed!) The frame and painted parts were stripped to bare metal, then prepped and painted with automotive acrylic I left the tank original.. It's got a few dings but the inside is clean. seat is original, too. It starts on the first kick and idles like a Honda should. There is about 30 minutes run time since the restoration was completed.. hasn't gotten dirty yet!

This is a very fun custom little XR80 it has a XR100 motor with a complete rebuild motor and a fresh bore and new Wiseco piston and rings and a custom pipe that really makes the motor wake upit runs great and is super cute! but is not a toy it really fast and hands great it will support an adult person but with a good young rider it is a rocket and would make some kid a new best friendit starts easy and runs hard also rebuilt front forks and the tires are good and heavy duty clutch it is ready to ride and has no problems.

I bought this rebuilt XR350 3 years ago with every intent to ride it, then never did! This is an excellent example of Honda's RFVC multi-valve technology. 1985 was the year Honda went to a single carb for this model, and it pulls like a train, with lots of low end torque. The XR is really quiet too. It is street legal in some states because it has lights, but it does not have a brake light or directional lights. Aftermarket parts are available to make this street legal in most states.

I purchased this bike from the original owner - it was only ridden on his property and on local roads. The bike is all original right down to the grips and tires. It runs great - tons of power and torque. The bike will need the original tires replaced to do any aggressive riding. The Honda XR650R is a whole different beast compared to the XR650L. The 650R retailed new for 600 dollars more than and L model. Some of the differences were the R model came with an aluminum frame, water cooled engine with 18% more horsepower than an XR650L. The 650R is almost 50 lbs. lighter than the XR650L. The XR650R was the bike that won the Baja 1000, 500, and 250. Do your research before buying. This bike is for sale locally. Sold as-is. We’ve known the XR150L and the low-seat CRF300LS were on the way, after the two dual sports were included on a list of motorcycles certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

A US announcement is expected soon Last month, we reported that Honda was preparing to bringing the XR150L dual sport to the U.S. market, introducing an air-cooled carbureted model marketed internationally as an agricultural vehicle to America. While we’re still waiting for a formal announcement form American Honda, it’s Canadian counterparts confirmed the XR150L will be arriving to North America.
