1964 Honda S90 - Super 90 - beautiful bike - must see! (1964)
Question 1: Do you have a title to the bike? Answer: Yes, I have a clear Virginia title for this bike that is in my name. It is not a salvage title. There are no liens. Question 2: Will the bike start? Answer: The bike started on one kick ten years ago when I bought it from the man who restored it. I expect that the bike would start today; however, the fluids should be changed before the bike is started. Question 3: What is the condition of the bike? Answer: This 1964 Honda Super 90 underwent a three year restoration about ten years ago by the previous owner. All parts were replaced with original Honda parts. The speedometer shows 8,593 miles. It was a one kick bike when I bought it. This bike has been stored indoors, and it has not been started or ridden since I bought it. The paint job is exceptional. It is automotive quality. I consider this bike to be a show bike. The bike is not perfect, however. Remember, it is 49 years old. There are several minor imperfections which do not detract from the overall appearance of the bike. The gas tank should be drained and cleaned, and the oil should be changed prior to starting the bike. Please view the pictures to see the condition of the bike. Recently I noticed that one of the front fork dust covers is cracked. I found a pair of OEM dust covers available for sale on eBay priced at just over $40.00, with shipping. Please email me with your questions. I want you to be happy with your purchase. This bike would be perfect for a college student who would like to ride to class in style. It would look great displayed in a restaurant or in a man cave. Payment only by USPS money orders. Question 4: Can you deliver the bike to me? Up for auction is a 1976 Honda MR175 with additional parts. I accompanied the original owner of this motorcycle to the House of Honda in 1976 when his dad purchased this bike for him. We had lots of fun riding this motorcycle through the woods near his home for a few years, after which it sat in his garage for over 20 years. I purchased the bike from the original owner around 1998 and had to clean out the fuel system, carburetor and gas tank to get it running again. My son used the bike for a few years and it sat again in my garage from 2010 until a few months ago. Unfortunately, the fuel went bad and I had to clean out the carburetor and tank again. The bike runs great, but I did put a different used gas tank on it to get it running quicker. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! This is a 1979 Honda Z50R Mini Trail 50, VIN 5007205. We are selling it for a friend who has had it in storage for about 2 years. It ran when it was parked, but may need to be gone through, he said they sometimes had to push it to start it. This bike was modified by a former owner with “long travel” suspension front and rear. Mechanically, everything seems to work – forks, shocks, brakes, shifter, cables, etc. This bike is very clean for its age. There is one small dent on the right side of the gas tank but tank is very clean inside and there are no leaks, either from fuel or oil. Michael Dunlop, who took four wins in last year’s TT, has a hard-charging style that’s exciting to watch. He leaves nothing on the table, and as we see in this on-board video, he’s practically unbeatable when he’s at the top of his game.
Honda NM4 Vultus Concept Revealed
Fri, 21 Mar 2014Honda revealed a new concept model called the NM4 Vultus, a futuristic-looking 745cc motorcycle with a massive front fairing. Despite the fact it looks like a mockup made for a movie like the Kawasaki-based bike in the recent Robocop reboot, Honda says the NM4 is indeed planned for production. The NM4 was designed by a team of young engineers in their 20s and early 30s, and that’s demographic Honda wants to target with its new concept.

MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season
Tue, 18 Mar 2014MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
