Here we have a well used example of the legendary RD04 Africa Twin, just freed from its shipping container. Aesthetically this bike is a bit rough, though the Honda colors show well. It's not a bad looking machine, it's just that you'll likely enjoy it more blasting down fire roads than looking at it amongst a motorcycle collection. Visually, there are plenty of things to nitpick. With that said, this bike runs very well, and I wouldn't hesitate to take it to Latin America if I needed to. Lets try this again - listed it in the wrong place last time... This is my 1987 Honda CR-500 that I bought new. It has been kept in storage in my barn for the last 13 years - never left in the weather. This bike was used in the California Desert, and taken care of like a baby. It comes with the following awesome accessories: DeVol rear disc aluminum cover, DeVol hydraulic reservoir protector. Acerbis front disc and fork protectors, Roost Boost, Sidewinder Front and rear Sprockets and Aluminum Bars. This bike is a BEAST, and was running perfectly when I moved to PA where it is now. I only ran Trick Racing Gas, and Castrol at 20:1 so the motor has been protected. This thing has so much power, you can climb a hill in 3rd. The picture is me jumping this exact bike out at El Mirage sometime around 1989 or so. I loved this machine... It HAS been sitting in the Barn for a while, so the front disc is locked, and the tires need to be replaced. I have not kicked it over, since the gas/oil mix in the carb is old too, and that should be replaced along with all the other fluids. The bike comes with no warranty, except my personal word (and I have a 100% seller rating for a reason) that there was nothing wrong with it when I moved to PA. Up for auction is a 1976 Honda MR175 with additional parts. I accompanied the original owner of this motorcycle to the House of Honda in 1976 when his dad purchased this bike for him. We had lots of fun riding this motorcycle through the woods near his home for a few years, after which it sat in his garage for over 20 years. I purchased the bike from the original owner around 1998 and had to clean out the fuel system, carburetor and gas tank to get it running again. My son used the bike for a few years and it sat again in my garage from 2010 until a few months ago. Unfortunately, the fuel went bad and I had to clean out the carburetor and tank again. The bike runs great, but I did put a different used gas tank on it to get it running quicker. Up for auction is my 1984 Honda scooter, I will give as much information as accurately and effectively as I can to the best of my knowledge so please read everything below and ask any questions you may have before bidding. Currently in running and driving condition, current California registration and clear title in my name.Odometer shows about 410 miles and has not rolled over as far as I know.Most, if not all accessories still function properly (I.e. Headlight, taillight, brake light, turn signals, horn, ignition switch with key, kill switch, electric start).Tires hold air but are weather-cracked and likely original from 1984 so replacement of all 3 tires would be advised before expecting dependability.Latch for seat is included but not attached due to lock housing damage on plastic side cover, seat opens freely.Fuel tank has minimal surface rust but does not seem to adversely affect fuel flow or overall function.Fuel petcock has been replaced with incorrect part so fuel flow/stop may only be accessed by removing plastic side cover and/or long needle-nose pliers. I purchased the bike from a outside of Green Bay in 1999 from the original owner out on a farm. Saw the bike parked near the county road so I pulled in for information.
