I came across this ONE OWNER bike this spring the day it was brought into a local shop by the original owner. The shop owned it for a few hours and then me, so it’s not completely a one owner, but for all practical purposes it is. So what makes this bike so special you are asking yourself? For starters it was city driven, not off road and not jumped or beat on, but adult owned, garaged and meticulously maintained. As you know bikes like this were mostly used for their purpose which is to off road on, be a workhorse on a farm and to be abused and used. I purchased the bike from a outside of Green Bay in 1999 from the original owner out on a farm. Saw the bike parked near the county road so I pulled in for information. The ladies husband bought it new in 81 and passed away in the mid 90's so there it sat with 300 original miles. It runs like a little sewing machine. Please call with any questions. Up for auction is my 1984 Honda scooter, I will give as much information as accurately and effectively as I can to the best of my knowledge so please read everything below and ask any questions you may have before bidding. Currently in running and driving condition, current California registration and clear title in my name.Odometer shows about 410 miles and has not rolled over as far as I know.Most, if not all accessories still function properly (I.e. Headlight, taillight, brake light, turn signals, horn, ignition switch with key, kill switch, electric start).Tires hold air but are weather-cracked and likely original from 1984 so replacement of all 3 tires would be advised before expecting dependability.Latch for seat is included but not attached due to lock housing damage on plastic side cover, seat opens freely.Fuel tank has minimal surface rust but does not seem to adversely affect fuel flow or overall function.Fuel petcock has been replaced with incorrect part so fuel flow/stop may only be accessed by removing plastic side cover and/or long needle-nose pliers. Up for auction is a 1976 Honda MR175 with additional parts. I accompanied the original owner of this motorcycle to the House of Honda in 1976 when his dad purchased this bike for him. We had lots of fun riding this motorcycle through the woods near his home for a few years, after which it sat in his garage for over 20 years. I purchased the bike from the original owner around 1998 and had to clean out the fuel system, carburetor and gas tank to get it running again. My son used the bike for a few years and it sat again in my garage from 2010 until a few months ago. Unfortunately, the fuel went bad and I had to clean out the carburetor and tank again. The bike runs great, but I did put a different used gas tank on it to get it running quicker. Fri, 10 Jan 2014Sherco rider Alain Duclos took today’s stage, eight years after his first win in Bamako. With three top five finishes this year Duclos has proven his own increased competitiveness as well as that of the Sherco 450 Rally bike he’s aboard. In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.
Day 5 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins Stage, Moves Into Overall Lead
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Red Bull KTM factory rider and three-time Dakar winner Marc Coma won stage five today followed by his teammate Jordi Viladoms and KTM supported rider Kuba Przygonski allowing KTM to scoop the top three places. Today´s stage five from Chilecito to Tucuman was characterized by hot temperatures, lots of sand and navigation in dry vegetation. Organizers decided to cancel the second part of the special for safety reasons and also because heavy thunderstorms threatened the area.

Day 4 Dakar 2014: Juan Pedrero Wins Stage Aboard Sherco
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Stage 4 of the 2014 Dakar saw Juan Pedrero take his maiden victory aboard a Sherco SR 450 Rally. Although not in contention for the overall, Pedrero showed he has outgrown his previous role as Marc Coma’s lieutenant at KTM by bringing his Sherco across the finish line 3:10 faster than third place Coma and 29 seconds faster than second place finisher Francisco Lopez. Coma’s performance in today’s stage moved him to only 3:10 behind overall leader Joan Barreda.
Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up
Tue, 07 Jan 2014Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.

Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.
2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results
Mon, 06 Jan 2014KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
