1983 Honda CB450SC Nighthawk (1983)
1983 Honda CB450SC Nighthawk 2,977 Miles 447cc Parallel twin-cylinder engine 6-Speed manual transmission 57.1 inch wheel base 30.9 inch seat height 392.5 lb weight (no fuel) 3.2 gallon fuel capacity (.5 gallon reserve) If you’re looking for an inexpensive, low mileage beginner or commuter bike this one is for you! From what I know and can tell this bike is 100% original. According to the previous owner, I am the fourth person to own the bike. I bought this bike a few weeks ago because I really like the way it looks and because of its overall condition and performance. The only reason I’m considering selling it is because I’ve put a total of 58 miles on it since buying it and I’ve come to the realization that I probably am not going to have enough time to ride both of my bikes. If the bike sells for my asking price great, if not I’ll keep it and go through the maintenance this winter. I have a clear title in hand. I’ve added gas and installed a new inline fuel filter, that’s it. The previous owner told me he installed a new battery and the battery does look to be brand new. That’s really all the history I can provide, I have no maintenance records on the bike. However, based on the motorcycles performance and looks I think it has been well maintained. I don’t want to mislead anyone, this is a 30 year old motorcycle and I am sure that there are maintenance items that should be reviewed and completed. I have both the Clymer and Honda field service manuals in pdf format that I can provide the new owner. The bike is being sold as-is. Here’s what I can tell you: The bike has started and ran every time I’ve jumped on it. The clutch shifts smoothly. The acceleration is responsive.2013-09-03 04:04:10Columbus, Ohio, US2,9771,200.00 -
1982 Honda Nighthawk 450. Great condition, runs great. (1982)
This bike looks and runs great, especially for it's age. Chrome and paint very shiny. No tears or or visible wear on the seat. New hand grips, and a new set of fork seals come with the bike. I purchased this bike a year ago at a garage sale. It had been sitting in the guy's dry basement since 2005. I've been restoring it and cruising around since I got it running. Title comes with bike. No major work to get it running other than cleaning out carberators, replacing spark plugs, changing oil, and lubricating chain. Tach is stuck, but tach cable turns as it should. Small paint chip in gas tank (1/4"). Pipes are blued at the heads, but nothing out of the ordinary. Key switch works, but can be turned on with anything flat. There's no rust on the entire machine, other than a little surface rust where the pipes are blued. It has good power for a 450 and gets incredible fuel mileage. A very light machine, good for beginners, cruising, or commuting to work. All lights and blinkers work. It will need a license plate if buyer intends to drive it home (or at your own risk). Will accept cash in person, or a certified or cashier's check. Bike will need to be picked up at my home in Coldwater OH. May consider meeting buyer somewhere if not too far.2013-09-04 04:42:08Coldwater, Ohio, US17,244800.00 -

It’s not just the sound or the smell of fresh dirt and fuel, it’s that feeling of knowing you’re about to have a good time, no matter your skill level.

The new 2026 CRF300F carries that legacy forward but with a little more muscle. Photos by Simon Cudby.
Let's Talk About Dual Clutch Transmissions
Thu, 30 Oct 2025The Dual Clutch Transmission, or DCT, is changing how some riders experience motorcycling—and even helping to attract new riders. On paper, it’s a simple idea—let the computer handle the shifting so the rider can just twist the throttle and go. In practice, it makes a full-size motorcycle behave more like an oversized, high-powered scooter.
2025 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Review
Fri, 10 Oct 2025In the pursuit of podiums Static/Street Photos by Nic de Sena / Track Photos by Max Klein ( Oxymoron Photography) Superbike: a word that instantly stirs the imagination, conjuring visions of streaking horizons, screaming engines, and tachometers buried deep in the red. These are machines born of obsession, built not for compromise but for the pursuit of speed itself — mechanical expressions of purpose that seize a rider’s mind with outrageous power figures and razor-edged intent. Draped in shimmering bodywork and racing colors, they look fast standing still, daring even the most risk-averse among us to tuck behind the bubble.

The BIG Difference Between the Honda CB750 Hornet and the CB1000 SP
Tue, 09 Sep 2025Tom Roderick spent a day riding the CB1000 Hornet SP and then another on the CB750 Hornet—having the chance to ride the bikes back-to-back makes the differences between the two clear. The 1000 uses an inline four-cylinder with roots in the CBR1000RR, a motor that thrives on revs and rewards a committed hand. It comes wrapped in premium suspension, brakes, and electronics, making it a serious tool when the pace rises and the road opens up.

Since the departure of Honda’s shaft-driven sport-tourers, such as the ST1300 and VFR1200F, Big Red has been out of the road-focused sport-touring game, while aiming much of its efforts at the ever-popular ADV market via its versatile Africa Twin CRF1000L platform. Well, those of the tarmac riding persuasion have a new ST machine to ponder in the NT1100, which borrows core components from the recently revamped Africa Twin range, including its frame, six-axis IMU-supported rider aids, 1,084cc Parallel-Twin engine, and semi-automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission.

With the 2025 Hornet 750, Honda hit the midimalism bullseye. Riding it back to back with the larger CB1000 Hornet SP, the 750 lacks the performance and higher-quality components of its sibling, but it's also a much better all-day mount.
2025 Honda CB1000 Hornet SP Review – First Ride
Tue, 10 Jun 2025Replacing the CB1000R with a sharper stinger Photos by Align Media The 2025 CB1000 Hornet SP retails for $10,999. During the Hornet’s press introduction held in California’s capital, Sacramento, Honda representatives confirmed that the bike is built in Japan. A few days later, discussing the Hornet SP with my friend and former MO chief editor, Kevin Duke, he was skeptical, thinking it had to be manufactured in a less-expensive-to-produce country, and rightly so.
