    Up for sale is my 1979 250 Honda Elsinore Red Rocket.  I got this years ago.  It has been a long process to restore/rebuild.  Below is what has been done to the Elsinore,  I started with the engine and gathered suspension parts along the way.  The frame was completely stripped of paint, all excess welds were filed off, the frame was cleaned with lacquer thinner, then primed and painted the CORRECT Tahitian Red from Colorite (see below).

    Vintage 1986 Honda CR 500.  I am the second owner and I was very impressed with what this bike can do.  All of the stories that you have heard are true.  This bike was one of the untuned bikes made from Honda.  My good friend Jim, a great rider in every sense said it best " This bike is stupid fast"  This bike is NOT for the weak at heart or beginners.  The bike is completely original, it has only been ridden about sixty times.  I replaced the handle bars, and had the transmission completely gone through.  I placed a white decal over the original yellow placard for a look that I liked.  It can be removed if someone wanted to go back to the yellow. This bike is currently registered in California and it has a green sticker.  Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions. Tires are really nice both front and rear The engine is complete. The original tank is really nice and clean inside and out.  Prior to storage the carburetor was emptied as well as the gas tank.

    This bike is an original 1997 Honda CR 500 it has not been modified or abused, the engine and running gear are all that came with the bike, the bike has really low hours considering the age of the unit. It has been very well maintained, the original owner only rode the bike once, not being a very good rider suffered a broken wrist and stored the bike.The motorcycle is extremely fast and is not recommended for a novice rider.The bike has some miner cosmetic issues 2 small dents in the exhaust, miner wear on the side case next to the rear brake pedal, and small repair to the seat cover.The unit will be sold as local pickup only,the buyer can make arrangements for pickup. Riding it back to back with the larger CB1000 Hornet SP, the 750 lacks the performance and higher-quality components of its sibling, but it's also a much better all-day mount.

Celebrating 50 years of luxo-touring Honda/Align Media It was the second and last lap around Barber Motorsports Park aboard the Candy Blue Green 1975 GL1000 Gold Wing graciously on loan from Dennis Doyle, the brother of Honda’s Northeast Press Fleet Specialist, Rob Doyle. Rob discovered the pristine Gold Wing on Facebook Marketplace while searching for a parts bike to restore Dennis’s other GL. The first and only owner of the Facebook GL placed the ad with only 31,000 original miles on the clock.
