1973 Honda CB-450. 7988 mileage bike, has been stored for a lot of years. Tank has been sealed, new sealed battery. Bike is original not restored. All lights work including horn. Ignition switch has been moved-see pictures. Also there is a switch to shut off just the tail light, maybe for out running the law? Front brake won't pump up, needs to be looked at. The carbs I believe could use a cleaning, every once in a while it wants to idle fast. Starts and rides OK. The bike is nice and original, it is not restored, it is 45 years old, not new. It is in nice shape. Very solid and has been with the same owner most of its life. Shows no sign of ever being abused. Clear title in my name. $500.00 in pay pal in 48 hours, balance cashier check or wire transfer prior to pick up. Bike has to be picked up within 30 days max. This nicely original Blue-Green Sandcast is in great running condition and ready to ride with 7,346 miles. The motorcycle has original later production model of the following "4-dimple" Tank - 17 litre, fuel tap long neck, oil webbed fabric line, 3 hole air-box which has been repainted, seat pan, black kill switch with knob, and finless oil filter housing. The engine serial number is CB750E-1007414, which makes it an original Sandcast. The bike does have some scratches and paint chipping on the headlight bucket. Due to a new seat on the seat pan, there are marks on the gas tank. There is also a scratch on top of the back taillight. The bike does include the original tool kit. All electric works. You are looking at a really nice 1977 Honda CB750A with only 10,xxx miles on it. It has been well maintained and taken care of. Not a show bike but shows very nicely. Some of the chrome has very minor pitting. Keep in mind this bike is almost 40 years old. Has a new battery. It's a little finicky starting when it's been sitting. I think it just needs to be taken out and ridden. Once it's warmed up, it goes down the road just fine. I just replaced all the shifter shaft and kickstart shaft seals. At least one was slightly leaking so I replaced them all. Just had oil changed and new seals. One of the carbs. is starting to leak. The carbs were rebuilt last year and put on by previous owner over the winter so it shouldn't be anything to major. I'd probably get that checked out before riding it. I've been riding it around on short rides and it seemed to quit leaking. Very comfortable riding bike. Has a Sharp stereo/tape deck. The radio part is not displaying but I think the tape deck works. The back rest is adjustable and will slide forward for rider to use. I noticed today that the headlight is not working. Everything else works, down to the turn signal beeper. Please look at all the pics closely. I tried to capture any kind of flaws. If you would like to see anything in particular, let me know and I can send a pic. This came from an estate, I was told by the son that it ran good when his father last rode it and parked it 27 years ago, The motor turns over with the kick start, I am not going to try to start it. It will need the carb dissembled and cleaned, new or charged battery, tire's seem to be in good shape, hold air and no dry cracking. 1983 Honda CB (1983)
1983 Honda CB 1000. These bikes were offered in 2 colors in 1983, a copper color and this color (Black/Gray) This bike is in really nice condition for its age. I have owned it 2.5 years and have had zero issues with it besides replacing battery last summer. Runs very well. Only problem is that you MAY want to replace the front turn signal rubber grommets which hold them in place because they have dry rotted throughout the years which makes them sag downward, I have placed a splint on the L.H. one (see photo) plus the speedometer light does not illuminate and needs replaced. All remaining electrical is good and works fine. Pipes are solid and rust free, chrome fenders are good and shine well, no dents or noticeable scratching on tank or side covers (remember its a 1983 and its not perfect) I simply cannot think of any additional problems to tell you about with this bike because there aren't any. This bike is a collectors bike due to the fact that it was manufactured only 1 year. It has the high / low 10 speed gear box in it which makes it stand out as well. It runs beautifully does not smoke or burn oil. Zero engine, gas, oil, gear box, has no leaks of any type. Kept in heated garage in the winter and not abused (and it shows) History reflects that it has always been adult owned and I'm the 3rd owner of this bike (I'm 59 years old) This bike had the oil changed this spring and is READY TO RIDE, you'll need to do nothing to roll on this classic! Only selling it because I have too many toys and need to get it to someone who will enjoy it. I simply don't have enough time to ride it any longer. I always get complements on this beautiful bike when I cruise on it. While we’re still waiting for a formal announcement form American Honda, it’s Canadian counterparts confirmed the XR150L will be arriving to North America.

Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
