Honda 1981 XR80 with XR100 engine!! NO reserve! (1981)
Honda 1981 XR80.. Plus! It has an XR100 engine with new top end (piston, rings, gaskets, valve seal). Lots of other new parts including cables, front tire, wheel bearings, chain, brakes, grips, ignition points and coil. This is a small bike with some serious torque. I'm 5'6", so a little too tall for this, I weight 150. It's got so much bottom end I can shift it up through the gears to 3rd then cruise around the yard.. you can lug it down pretty slow for a corner, then accelerate without having to down shift. It's totally fun! (It's a 5 speed!) The frame and painted parts were stripped to bare metal, then prepped and painted with automotive acrylic I left the tank original.. It's got a few dings but the inside is clean. seat is original, too. It starts on the first kick and idles like a Honda should. There is about 30 minutes run time since the restoration was completed.. hasn't gotten dirty yet!2013-09-03 19:00:36Elma, New York, US1550.00

2001 Honda XR80R Dirt Bike We're selling our Honda XR80R dirt bike since we no longer are able to use it. 1996 Honda XR (1996)
Up for sale is a nice 100% ready to go 1996 Honda XR400 dirt bike. This bike starts right up, has lots of power, idles and revs amazingly smooth, and shifts through all the gears nicely. It doesn't smoke or make any odd noises and the XR400 is known world-wide as one of the most reliable dirt bikes that Honda has ever produced. They are VERY low maintenance and extremely durable. This bike is in really nice condition, especially for a 1996. Everything works on it, even the headlight. The suspension is great with no leaks, as well as the brakes, frame, chain (newer gold chain installed) and sprockets, and other mechanical components. The tires have good tread, the seat is in great shape with no rips or fading, and the plastics and graphics are new including one side panel and front and rear fenders. This bike is all set and ready to ride and needs nothing. It has TONS of torque and will climb anything and run reliably for many, many years. I will also include the old plastics if you would like them for no extra cost. This is a 1996 dirt bike so there are some minor scrapes and scuffs and cosmetic imperfections here and there, but nothing very noticeable and nothing that affects the performance of the bike. The gas tank has a few spots on it where the white plastic is slightly yellowed, but some graphics would cover that up if desired. I would just like to be completely honest with potential buyers. Please feel free to come take a look at the bike if you're local in the Western New York area. I can help with delivery to areas north of Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, Ohio, and Rochester, NY and I can also help with shipping if you arrange it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. This is an off road bike and in NY they do not come with titles, but I will provide you with a bill of sale. $200 Pay Pal deposit at the end of the listing and cash, certified check, or other payment upon pick up of the bike. Thanks.2016-08-15 04:46:59Hamburg, New York, United States11,695.00

2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride
Fri, 03 Nov 2023A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.

Church of MO: 2003 Honda ST1300
Sun, 29 Jan 2023By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
