For Sale is a nice 1869 Honda sport 65 I have had sence the 1980's. This is a bike I tought my boys to ride on. They are both in their 30s now so it has just been setting on a shelf in my garage for years. I drained out the fuel and put fresh oil in at that time. A few years back I put on a new seat cover, peg rubbers, tail light and some new mirrors, but other than that it is pretty much original. This bike has less than 3000 actual miles. As expected with a bike of this age, there are some scratches and chips in the paint (no dents)and some rust on the chrome rims, but paint still has a very nice shine to it and plastic all still looks pretty good. Over all the bike is very nice. The title is still in original owners name but is signed off, I just never wanted to drive it on the road so I didn't change over. An inspection can be arranged by appointment only. If the bike needs to be shipped, we will ensure it is available for the transporter's schedule. If you have questions or want to discuss the bike call 608-330-0620 (no texting), e-mails might not get answered for several days as I don't work close to home and I don't have a phone that has access to e-mail. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! This auction is for a REALLY sweet 1970 Honda Z50A Mini Trail, VIN 307174. This is not a perfect museum piece, but HAS been painstakingly restored with lots of TLC. To start with, the engine has been totally rebuilt (bored first over, new piston and rings, valve job, automatic clutch totally gone through and adjusted, new points, engine cases and head beadblasted, all new seals and gaskets, etc) by a factory trained Honda mechanic with over 40 years of experience. You will actually have to BREAK THIS ENGINE IN (Iâ€™ve put about 10 minutes on the bike since rebuild)! The following have been replaced with either NOS or reproduction parts: steering bearings, seat (a stencil is included if you want to add the HONDA logo), wheel bearings, fork gaiters and bushings, wiring harness, front brake cable, front tire, rear brakes, headlight bulb, battery and strap, spark plug, drive chain, kickstand, dimmer switch, and of course, fresh oil. The following HARD TO FIND original parts are still on this bike: air cleaner, complete headlight and taillight assemblies, gas tank badges, chainguard, exhaust heat shield, battery box and rectifier, and factory muffler assembly. Mechanically, brakes work very well, automatic clutch is excellent, gearbox shifts great all through three gears, all lights work. Carb was completely rebuilt, bike starts on first or second kick and idles nicely. Cosmetically, there is some minor wear and tear, as to be expected â€“ call it PATINA.

Cleaning out the garage - I'm downsizing to a condominium and the bikes have to go. I am the 2nd owner of this vintage CX500 that I bought in 1980. It sat in the garage unused for a number of years as I moved on to a Harley Davidson and just lost interest in it. I recently went through it and changed all the fluids and tinkered with it to get it ready for sale. Everything works - all the electrics, drive-train, ... although it does run poorly - unresponsive, surges a bit, but does idle just fine after it's warmed up. No doubt this is because the carbs are likely gunked from sitting too long so they need a thorough cleaning. This bike is all stock (except for the little clip-on windshield you see in the pictures). The tank is clean inside with no dents but there is a blemish to the graphic on the right side where I spilled some brake fluid while filling the master cylinder and a nick where the seat meets the tank (small). Seat is perfect - no rips or defects. The right fork seal weeps a little bit of oil (not bad enough to replace) but I did replace the left one as it was leaking too much. The tires look good but they're ancient and should be changed. It does have the markings on the crankcase showing the that stator has been serviced (original owner took care of that). It has all the normal wear and tear you would expect from a 35 year old bike. It's a good starting point if you're a VJM enthusiast and want to do a concours restoration.

More approachable models from Honda American Honda officially announced the XR150L dual-sport for the U.S., alongside the returning Navi and an expanded CRF300L lineup that now includes a new low-seat height variant. We’ve known the XR150L and the low-seat CRF300LS were on the way, after the two dual sports were included on a list of motorcycles certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

A US announcement is expected soon Last month, we reported that Honda was preparing to bringing the XR150L dual sport to the U.S. market, introducing an air-cooled carbureted model marketed internationally as an agricultural vehicle to America. While we’re still waiting for a formal announcement form American Honda, it’s Canadian counterparts confirmed the XR150L will be arriving to North America.
