Barn find 1974 Honda Trail 70,CT70.This is an unmolested,original Honda 70.This is the way the bike was found,I decided not to clean it,just get it running.Looks like the previous owner recently made an attempt to get it running by replacing spark plug and points.I acquired it non running,to get it running I cleaned and flushed the gas tank,changed fuel lines and it took a couple tries of cleaning the carb to get it working properly,has not been rebuilt.Replaced spark plug,cap,points,condensor.The 70 now runs very smooth,although to me sounds like there is a very small exhaust leak near the head,I could be wrong. I have yet to see another ct70 with the original turn signals intact,has the original tires no dry rot at all,has the original key.Brakes still work well,speedometer works,horn works,rear brake light is on,right side turn signals light up but do not flash,left side does not light up,headlight does not light up. You are bidding on a survivor 1970 Honda CT 70. This Honda is in great condition, with just over 2200 miles. It is a great color: the best in my opinion, and is a very tight ride. It is all original with the exception of a reproduction carb. The original carb is included in the sale. The carb that is on it needs minor adjustment, but the bike starts very easily, (one or two kicks) and does not smoke. Check of the video of the running below: The images show how clean this bike is, it is missing just a couple of items: a reflector on the side of one of the forks, one button on the handlebars, and it does not come with a battery. I believe all cables are original. The rear foot brake needs adjustment. The original seat cover does have a tear in the front. This is a great iconic CT 70 - the right shock is not bent like most are, and the bike is very clean and a good runner. It hauls my 180LBS to 35 MPH easily. Located in Missoula, MT. 1983 HONDA TRAIL 110 CT110 in its classic form is a 105cc 4-stroke air-cooled single cylinder engine with a four-speed transmission and an automatic clutch. That coupled with a roughly 2:1 ratio gear reduction box known as the dual range subtransmission which switched into operation using a small lever under the transmission case and allowed the CT to climb steep slopes with no difficulty. The cylinder is nearly horizontal in the step-through tube/stamping frame. At least Honda’s had the decency to change its nomenclature over the years to give the impression of evolution. Kawasaki is standing pat with the 292 cc Single that’s powered its KLX since 1996, along with its KLX nomenclature.
