1968 Honda CL (1968)
I bought this motorcycle from the family of the original owner. The motorcycle was purchased new, along with a new CL175, in 1968 from Hapco Motors in Beverly Hills, CA, by a man and his wife, who used the motorcycles for sunny-day touring around southern California. In the early 70’s, they moved to the Lake Tahoe area, where they continued using the bikes for touring the local area.2016-07-23 04:45:31Reno, Nevada, United States152600

2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride
Fri, 03 Nov 2023A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.

Church of MO: 2003 Honda ST1300
Sun, 29 Jan 2023By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
