My dad bought this in 1978 and it was my high school graduation present in 1981. I quit riding it in 2007 because it blew a head gasket. It still ran fine when I parked it and I was going to fix it someday but here it is 6 years later and I still haven't fixed it.

This is a 1976 Honda CB550K from the Hamilton Honda Motorcycle collection in Apache Junction, Arizona. This CB550 is an original rider in very good condition and drives well. It has 18707 miles on the odometer, has a new battery and has been recently serviced. It has its original paint on the tank, although there are several scratches on the top as shown in the pictures. The left side cover has a crack but since it looks to be an original, we did not want to replace it or repaint it. The original yellow paint still shows on the factory inspection locations.

I replaced the triple tree ball bearings with modern tapered bearings and installed progressive springs in the fork tubes. I used the engine and frame from the lowest mileage bike and completely refreshed just about everything except the engine which was only polished.

In fact the CB750 was voted the motorcycle of the century!! It is in mostly original condition. CB750k Runs and shifts perfect. All original with correct everything. Very clean bike with no rust or dents. HM431 (Stamped and OEM- no BS emissions reading) pipes are perfect, new and the real deal. Chrome is srtait w/ no obvious pitting. Motor was hand polished and is beautiful. Seat is new OEM Honda replacement. Paints still shines nice. Tank does have small touch up on right side where a chemical drip distorted the paint. Tank paint has been touched up (size of a quarter) at right side above "H" in Honda. The paint is also scuffed under the seat where it rubs on the tank. Bike does weep oil (a few drops ) after running at the connecting rubber hose that goes from oil fill tank to the lower. Got new plugs/oil/filters in July. Tires are nice but are slightly larger than stock. Front brake caliper may need rebuilt because front brake squeeks.

Up for auction is a rideable 1976 Honda CB550K with a Clean and open title. This is a fine example of a CB550 and is in nice overall condition. There is some cosmetic wear, but is overall very nice for a 40 year old motorcycle. I am selling my 1976 Honda CB 400F Super Sport. The bike is a well-maintained survivor with just under 14,000 miles. The bike has always been garage-kept. I bought the bike from a collector in 2010; I rode it very occasionally and maintained it impeccably. Since I've had it, I've had the carbs rebuilt and synchronized. I've also replaced the shock seals and had the front brake master cylinder rebuilt. The tires (Avon Road Riders) are relatively new (under 500 miles). The chain was also replaced, and the battery is new this summer (Yuasa, of course!). All work was done with NOS Honda parts. While the bike looks incredible for its age, it is NOT perfect; after all, it is not a restoration. The bike does, however, have patina and character as any classic should! The bike does not have any significant flaws that detract from its appearance or value. The tank and exhaust have suffered no dents, and the engine is leak-free. The paint is in excellent condition. It runs as it should, and the transmission shifts perfectly through all the gears. I wouldn't hesitate to ride the bike anywhere.

Selling most of the units in Asia or Latin America, the XR150 platform is one of the most popular entry-level dual-sports, and its introduction to the US comes with some welcome perks; time tested engine and components plus a 20-year history of available parts – both OEM and aftermarket. Honda’s reliability is legendary, and this little XR150L is likely no exception.

2023 Honda XR150L, CRF300LS and Navi Announced for US

More approachable models from Honda American Honda officially announced the XR150L dual-sport for the U.S., alongside the returning Navi and an expanded CRF300L lineup that now includes a new low-seat height variant. We’ve known the XR150L and the low-seat CRF300LS were on the way, after the two dual sports were included on a list of motorcycles certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

2023 Honda XR150L Announced for Canada

A US announcement is expected soon Last month, we reported that Honda was preparing to bringing the XR150L dual sport to the U.S. market, introducing an air-cooled carbureted model marketed internationally as an agricultural vehicle to America. While we’re still waiting for a formal announcement form American Honda, it’s Canadian counterparts confirmed the XR150L will be arriving to North America.

By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
