1981 Honda CB 900 (1981)
1981 Honda CB 900 I bought 2 years ago in original condition, I changed the oil and put about 2000 miles on it I tried to restore it and in the process of sanding the tank I put a pin hole that you can't see with the naked eye but leaked gas after a few hundred miles. The leaking caused the paint to flake off the tank, so the gas tank needs to be sealed and repainted. It was starting to get colder when this happened so its been stored since. It also needs a new battery. It ran great before it was stored for winter. Will need very little work before it is street ready. 1981 Honda CB900 Custom NO RESERVE (See video) (1981)
This bike ran pretty well 2 years ago before it was put away for the winter. A couple weeks ago I pulled it out of the mothballs, started it up and found it was running on 3 cylinders. I took the carbs off, cleaned them, and ran a bottle of B-12 carb cleaner through the gas. It is now running on all 4 cylinders, but backfires on deceleration. It has brand new tires with less than 10 miles on them, has new headlight ears, new headlight, new battery and both cam timing chains have recently been changed along with new rings and valve adjustment. It comes with 2 Vetter hard bags that are in decent shape, along with mounting hardware. Fri, 23 Sep 2022Technical details revealed in Swiss vehicle data Honda‘s been teasing its new Hornet for several months now, first with a concept at EICMA, some design sketches in June, and more recently, details about its new Parallel-Twin engine. While we wait for Honda to officially reveal the the bike, we’ve managed to get further specifications for the 2023 Honda Hornet, thanks to vehicle certification data from Switzerland. The Swiss data lines up with what Honda has already revealed about the Hornet, including its 755cc Parallel-Twin Unicam engine and its claimed output of 90.5 hp at 9500 rpm, 55.3 lb-ft.
