I bought this bike from the guy who rode it until he got too old and tipped it. It turns over with the kick starter and compression feels good but it has no spark. He said it ran when he parked it about 10 years ago.

This is a very original 1974 CB550, with 2,860 miles, all parts are original including tires, the bike runs very well, I have been riding it occasionally just to keep it in great shape. you can still find factory yellow markings on the bike. Check out the picture for details, The exhaust pipes does show rust, there are patches on it to keep it from leaking. Title is clear.

Nice CB200T in good running shape.   Some highlights to share :  - New gel battery - New tires - New ignition switch / keys - New pegs - New headlight ears - New headlight ring - New headlight bucket- New spark plugs - New points - New condenser- Rebuild petcock- New tachometer drive cam holder- New alternator gasket - Straight pipes (yup, she growls)  The not-so-useful front mechanical disc brake was replaced with a drum.   Other maintenance items I would address if keeping long term : - Fork seals- new front drum brake pads As I said, it runs great and will continue to do so if general maintenance is performed.

1976 HONDA CB750  MANUFACTURE DATE 12/75 ONLY 1793 ORIGINAL MILES MACHINE HAS BEEN IN TIME WARP, STORED FOR THE LAST 40 YEARS! THE YOUNG MAN WHO FIRST PURCHASED THE MACHINE RODE IT FOR 1793 MILES BEFORE GOING INTO THE SERVICE, HE STORED THE MACHINE CORRECTLY WHEN HE LEFT, NO GAS, NO BATTERY, FOGGED THE ENGINE, METICULOUSLY COVERED THE BIKE WITH 3 TIGHTLY FITTED COVERS INSIDE FAMILY GARAGE, SADLY HE DID NOT COME BACK. WHEN I PURCHASED THE BIKE THE LEFT SIDE EXHAUST SYSTEM HAD GOTTEN OUTSIDE THE COVERS AND HAD BEEN BUMPED AND DAMAGED BY LAWN MOWER.  THE EXHAUST SYSTEM WAS REPLACE BY A BRAND NEW OLD STOCK HONDA UNIT AT RIDICULOUS EXPENSE.

Nice example of a bike that got parked and forgotten after only 1473 miles...original tires. Engine is loose and turns freely and shifts through all gears.....I pulled a spark plug and got spark.  Bike has not been started for years but I don't think it will take too much to get her going. Carbs have not  been touched so expect they will need good cleaning.  Gas tank is decent interior ...you could get away with it but I would reseal.  Front brake is without fluid so expect it will need rebuild.

Up for sale is a beautiful 1974 Honda CB 750 with 2600 miles, all original, un-restored, even has original tires.  This is the only bike I have ever seen with this few of miles and in this good of condition. I'm sure if your looking to buy this bike you know what you are looking at and what a find this is. The 9-9.5 out of 10 comes from very minor surface (only surface) rust on rear springs and various other small places that could easily be cleaned up, but I leave that to you or your detail shop.  There is a clear tittle in my name.

I rode this bike for 4 years, and it was really fun.  I stopped riding it 2 years ago and it has been sitting in an old garage ever since.  It needs a little work, but it is not an incredibly complex machine. I have not tried to start it in the past 2 years, but it was running when I put it away. There is a scratch on the tailpipe and a little dent on the tank but the frame is in tact.  It just needs a little TLC or it can be parted out.

I purchased this wonderful well-kept and rare Honda CB 360 last July 2012 from an owner in Nebraska who collected old CB’s stored in a barn on a farm. He was the 2nd owner who appears to have purchased the bike from the original owner in Iowa based on the title exchange records when I licensed the motorcycle earlier this spring. He sold this particular model because his son was getting married and needed money for the wedding (or perhaps the honeymoon)!

2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride

Fri, 03 Nov 2023

A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.

Honda HQ is effectively a campus, with multiple buildings interlinked by arteries of short roads. Walking is the usual method people use to get around.

Church of MO: 2003 Honda ST1300

Sun, 29 Jan 2023

By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
