2014 Ducati Superbike (2014)
So my lying piece of shit ex girlfriend has been gone about 6 months now which is great but she abandoned our dogs and cats which are a lot of work for just one person. I have less and less time to ride and i find myself tip toeing through life knowing that even a minor injury as far as injuries are concerned could threaten my ability to function. I have too many lives depending on me to be taking any risks right now so its with a heavy heart that I think im going to be giving up riding indefinitely.2016-08-01 04:54:35New York, New York, United States225,000.00

Ducati 996R - 1,781 Miles - 135hp - (1 of 500) Worldwide (1 of 100) in USA (2001)
The big deal about the 996R was the first ever use of the testastretta (narrow head) engine which went on to power the 998 and the 999 series after it. The narrower, 25º included valve angle finally freed the combustion chamber from what was still essentially the 851 based Desmo quattro engine. The bike is essentially a 996SPS rolling chassis with the new engine, the 996R was the homoligation model that allowed the engines use in racing for Ducati. There were some changes such as upgraded brakes and the removal of the side fairing vent for aerodynamic reasons. MOTOR - The 996R's peak output in homologated guise is a claimed 135ps at 10,200rpm at the crankshaft - 13ps more at 200rpm less than the 996SPS. FRAME - To create the 996R, Ducati focused most attention on the new engine, and slotted it into the same tubular-steel spaceframe as the SPS - itself derived from Foggy's racebike.2013-09-05 18:01:30New York, New York, US1,80024,999.00

1983 TT2 - Factory Race Bike - (1 of 40) (1983)
Taglioni's final design would be the Pantah motor and TT2, together they would win (4) world championships for Ducati. In 1982 Walter Cussigh won every round of the Italian TT2 Championship and Tony Rutter won the World TT2 Championship, both on TT2's. Their TT2's used 41mm Malossi Dell'Orto Carburetors and on 16" / 18" Campoagolo wheels ... just like this one. The 600cc motor is rated to make 78 bhp at 10,500rpm. It is a original factory race bike with a properly stamped Verlicchi frame with a two digit vin #, noting its position in the order of just (40) TT2's created. It has been seen and reviewed by local, national and international renowned racers and restorers of the TT era.2013-09-03 21:05:43New York, New York, US1,80073,500.00

2025 Ducati Panigale V4S Review – First Ride
Mon, 16 Sep 2024Ducati’s flagship is the beneficiary of MotoGP input Photos by Alex Photo MotoGP has been called the Ducati Cup in recent years because the brand takes up a third of the grid – and they’re all usually at the front. Granted, I suppose the kind of criticism is warranted if you like a little variety with your racing, but the reason behind all those bikes is more nuanced than just wanting to steal the show. Ostensibly, team boss Gigi D’alligna’s job was to bring Ducati back to the top.
2024 Ducati DesertX Rally Review – First Ride
Wed, 13 Mar 2024Rallying the troops for a rip through Morocco Photos by Alex Photo. Not having children of my own, nor many in my close circle for that matter, I forget how seeing the unadulterated enthusiasm and joy from a child can brighten up one’s entire day. Of course, when it’s due to a group of motorcycles roaring through their small town in the desert outside Marrakech, that joy makes an incredible experience that much more memorable.
2024 Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono Review – First Ride
Wed, 14 Feb 2024Watch out KTM – Ducati’s coming for you Photo: Alex Photo KTM, consider yourself on watch because Ducati is coming for you, and it’s coming for you with this: the 2024 Hypermotard 698 Mono. One look and you can tell the Hyper Mono is aimed squarely at the KTM 690 SMC R, the supermoto inspiration is obvious to all, and now there’s suddenly an arms race in a category that’s been one-sided for years. Sure, the street-legal supermoto scene may be a small niche, but we all know it’s a recipe for getting your license taken away in no time – all with a giant smile on your face.
2023 Ducati Streetfighter V2: 5 Things You Need To Know
Thu, 14 Dec 2023Don’t sleep on the baby Streetfighter – here are 5 important details about it When Ducati first introduced its original Streetfighter with the 1098 engine in 2009… I hated it. Other than being nice to look at, the riding characteristics were horrible. Oddly enough, when the 848 version was introduced, somehow it was a little more enjoyable to ride.

Sun, 22 Oct 2023A Panigale wrapped in Multistrada clothing – and we're one of only three in the world to ride it. Photo/Video: Alex Photo The arc of the aging sportbike rider goes a little something like this: In their youth, going fast and taking chances is the name of the game. Sportbikes are the status symbol that fulfills this desire and is the closest thing to a two-wheeled land missile they can get their hands on.

2023 Ducati Scrambler Icon Review – First Ride
Tue, 18 Apr 2023Reinventing an Icon The Iberian Peninsula has had its struggles through the past some hundreds of years. From folks mastering the silk trade, to those who wanted the money made from it, any region that’s been populated for so long is bound to have a history of its people standing up against encroaching armies wanting to take what’s not theirs. The kind folks who invited me to such a place have a history of perseverance in the face of adversity, too.
