Ducati Sport Classic GT1000 (2007)
This is a rare black and tan Ducati GT1000 in excellent shape. Always garage kept, covered and never driven in the rain. Never wrecked, never dropped. In addition to the stock specs below, it has the Termignoni exhaust - what a great sound! Unfortunately I just don't seem to ride it much anymore. I was riding it to my office on nice days but then a change of jobs has me working out of the house and no reason to commute on it. It starts and runs great and is a ton of fun to drive. This baby needs to be ridden more! Here are the official specs if you don't have them: Engine 992 cc (60.5 cu in) v-twin 94 ∅ x 71.5 mm, Compression Ratio 10:1 Top speed 217 km/h (135 mph) Power 68 kW (91 bhp) @ 8,000 rpm Torque 9.3 kgf (67 ft·lbf) @ 6,000 rpm Transmission Gearbox 6 speed, Ratios 1st 37/15, 2nd 30/17, 3rd 27/20, 4th 24/22, 5th 23/24, 6th 24/28, Primary drive Straight cut gears; ratio 1.84, Final drive Chain; Front sprocket 15; Rear sprocket 38 Suspension Front: 43 mm upside-down telescopic fork Brakes Front 2 x 320 mm semi-floating discs, floating caliper 2-piston, 2-pad caliper. Ducati GT 1000 (2007)
Up for auction - 2007 Ducati GT1000 Sport Classic. Original adult owner. Always stored in the garage or under a cover. 8307 miles. Brand new Pilot RD 3 tires. Extras – aftermarket bar end mirrors / rear luggage rack / chrome plated radiator cover / rear wheel hugger (fender) / Nelson Rigg motorcycle cover. New gas tank replaced per manufacturers recall. I also have the stock mirrors. Comes with owner’s manual and all three keys (including the red one). This bike is a head turner! The rare color scheme is AWESOME! Stock exhaust, however sounds more aggressive due to holes drilled into bafflers. See pics. Well maintained, however it is overdue for 7k service. The tank has 2 small bumps on the right side – barely noticeable, however they are there if you are looking for them. I don’t know what this is; it came from the manufacturer this way. See pics.2013-09-03 09:30:57Monterey, California, US8,3076,100.00

2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4S Review - First Ride
Wed, 22 Mar 2023A tale of evolution. Credit: Photos by Alex Photo Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but we’re big fans of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 around here. The do-it-all naked bike is fast as hell when you want to get crazy, but as docile as a puppy when you don’t.
Friday Forum Foraging: 2001 Ducati ST4
Fri, 20 Jan 2023Like we said, forums are an excellent place to search for a new-to-you used motorcycle. Or car. Or whatever.
Old Dog, New Tricks: Tackling The LA-Barstow To Vegas Dual-Sport Ride
Mon, 05 Dec 2022Joining the 39th running of the famed event on a Ducati DesertX and a Kawasaki KLX300 Credit: Photos by Cait Maher, Evans Brasfield, Grumpy, and Ryan Adams Let’s be honest, dual-sport motorcycles aren’t really designed for touring, despite my best efforts ( here and here). The bikes are merely street-legal dirt bikes without much accommodation for creature comfort. So, spending 220-ish miles flat in the saddle from Las Vegas, NV to Palmdale, CA, mostly on Interstate 15, is a platform for cataloging discomforts, and after riding approximately 360 miles, mostly off road over the two previous days, my aches-and-pains were legion.
The Final Front Tire: Which is Better for Your ADV Bike? 19 or 17-inch?
Thu, 10 Nov 2022Ducati Multistrada V4S vs. Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak It all began when our old friend Ken Vreeke returned from a six-day ride in Spain, name-dropping and in love with the BMW S1000XR he’d ridden there. Actually, he rented a GS1250, but also got some time on the XR: Problem is with the ADV bikes, Vreeke complains, even with good tires you run off the edges long before you get any real lean angle.
Next-Gen 2023 Ducati Scrambler First Look
Mon, 07 Nov 2022Ducati revealed its new “Next-Gen” 803cc Scrambler lineup, featuring new styling, a new ride-by-wire throttle, a 4.3-inch TFT display, and an updated chassis. For 2023, Ducati will offer three 803cc Scramblers: the Icon, the Full Throttle, and the Nightshift. The 1100 Scrambler range will also return, unchanged, with three models: the Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro, Tribute Pro, and Sport Pro.
2023 Ducati Diavel V4 – First Look
Fri, 28 Oct 2022The Devil gains the V4 Granturismo engine Ducati announced a brand new Diavel V4, replacing the previous 1,262cc V-Twin model with one powered by its 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine. The Diavel is the latest Ducati model to go from two to four cylinders, leaving the XDiavel and Scrambler 1100 as the only two Ducati models larger than 1,000cc to remain with a Twin. It now seems likely we’ll see an XDiavel V4 for 2024, while we should get some idea of the future of the Scrambler family on Nov.
World Superbike to Raise Price Cap on Production Race Bikes
Fri, 21 Oct 2022Now we know why the Panigale V4 R launch was delayed a week When Ducati revealed the 2023 Panigale V4 R last week, we raised an eyebrow when we saw its $44,995 price tag. As we noted in our First Look article, this exceed the price cap to be eligible for World Superbike racing. According to 2022 regulations, sport production machines were capped to a price of €40k, and the previous Panigale V4 R fit snugly below that price cap.
2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4, V4 S, and V4 SP2 First Look
Thu, 20 Oct 2022We're always fighting in the streets Did we really need the Ducati Streetfighter V4 to be even trickier and more refined than the one that won last year’s Open Nakeds Shootout with ease? The one that out-horsepowered even the mighty Kawasaki Z H2 – 177 rear-wheel horses to 163? Actually there was room for improvement, as the mighty V4 S finished third in the Track portion of that seven-bike slugfest.
2023 Ducati Panigale V4 R First Look
Fri, 14 Oct 2022Expect to pay more than the $45k MSRP to unlock the claimed 240.5 hp After a one week delay due to “organizational reasons,” Ducati released the fourth part of its 2023 World Première series, “This is Racing”. To the surprise of absolutely no one, the subject of the episode is the new 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 R. We knew the V4 R would represent the pinnacle of Ducati’s racing development, so we eagerly awaited the official details.
2023 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally - First Look
Thu, 29 Sep 2022Ducati ups the adventure with longer-travel suspension and 7.9-gallon fuel tank Ducati revealed a new Multistrada V4 Rally in the latest episode of its 2023 World Première web series. And while the model name hints at improved off-road capability, the V4 Rally’s feature list leans more for long distance travel and passenger comfort than tackling Dakar. Not that there aren’t any upgrades to make the Rally model more capable of venturing off the tarmac than existing Multistrada V4 models.
