1993 BMW R-Series (1993)
Classic 1993 BMW Airhead The culmination of all things good in a BMW Airhead. The biggest bore engine 979.9 cc. The highly desirable dual disk 2-piston Brembo fixed calipers with floating stainless steel disk brakes. The monoshock Paralever rear suspension and the extremely rigid BMW cross spoke wheels, 18" front, 17" rear (which allow you to run tubeless tires on spoked wheels). The front suspension has a highly responsive telescopic fork with separate hydraulic compression and rebound-damping action with progressive spring rate and integral fork stabilizer. Includes 2 inclined 32 mm Bing constant-pressure carburetors and a large bore 2 into 1 exhaust. New battery this spring. Factory saddlebags are included with my travelogue of stickers. I've owned this bike since 2013. The bike had a little less than 10,000 miles when I got it. It's been great but it's time to downsize, rotate my toy stock, and move on to the next adventure. Buyer must place a non-refundable $500 deposit within 24 hours of close of listing by Paypal. Balance in clear funds before release of bike. I am located in Memphis, Tennessee and am happy to help with pick up or delivery, but arrangements are your responsibility. Please ask questions if you have them. I'll answer as quickly as possible.2016-10-17 04:42:54Memphis, Tennessee, United States397300 -

Limited Edition Vespa 946 Snake Celebrates Lunar New Year
Fri, 17 Jan 2025Vespa probably isn’t the brand you’d think would be celebrating the Lunar New Year and honoring the Chinese zodiac, but for the third year in a row, the Italian brand has done just that with a limited edition 946 scooter. The 2025 Vespa 946 Snake comes after last year’s 946 Dragon and 2023’s 946 Bunny as the third entry in the brand’s Lunar Collection. We can probably expect the collection to expand over the next decade to complete the Chinese zodiac’s 12 animals, with a Horse-themed model for 2026.The 946 Dragon came in a muted golden color with a bold green dragon graphic on the front shield, while the 2023 946 Bunny had a more playful look, with a lime green color and a cartoon rabbit on the shield.

2025 Harley-Davidson Carry-Over Models Announced
Fri, 03 Jan 2025What Harley announced… and what it didn’t Harley-Davidson announced its first batch of models returning for 2025 (well, technically second batch, if you include the returning police bikes confirmed in December, so, let’s say the first batch of consumer models). As usual, the first bikes to be announced are carry-over models, those returning with new color options and pricing adjustments, but no significant mechanical changes. These include the Road Glide, Street Glide, and Road King Special baggers, plus the Road Glide 3, Freewheeler, and Tri Glide Ultra trikes.
How to Add More Power to Your Harley-Davidson
Thu, 02 Jan 2025Three easy and three not-so-easy tips to help you crank up the performance on your hog Harley-Davidson and engine performance go together like cheese curds and piping hot Milwaukee bratwurst. They're a natural fit, folks! American V-Twin fans have enormous aftermarket support to extract extra oomph from their engines or go whole-hog with complete performance builds that won't leave any horsepower or torque on the table.
2025 Harley-Davidson FLHXU Confirmed: Enter the Street Glide Ultra?
Tue, 24 Dec 2024Harley-Davidson has been pretty tight-lipped about its 2025 model lineup so far, but Motorcycle.com can confirm that it will include at least one new touring model designated “FLHXU”. Considering the Street Glide is the FLHX, it’s a safe bet that the new model will be a Street Glide Ultra, which somehow has never actually existed before. For those unfamiliar with Harley-Davidson nomenclature, Ultras are Harley-Davidson’s big-rig touring models, typically equipped with fairing lowers, a Tour-Pak combination topcase and passenger backrest, plus other amenities for racking up miles in comfort.
Best Naked Motorcycle of 2024: KTM 1390 Super Duke
Fri, 20 Dec 2024The 1290 Super Duke was already a ridiculous motorcycle with the amount of power it had, all wrapped up in a fairing-less package. I thought we had reached peak levels of power, torque, and displacement – especially in naked bikes – and the industry would shift its attention towards electronics to make it all manageable. But then KTM went and threw the playbook out the window with this, the 1390 Super Duke.

The 390 Adventure Project: What’s the Best Gear for Adventure Riding?
Tue, 17 Dec 2024Finding the right pieces to fit your plans Photos by Alyssa Bridges. One of the wonderful things about adventure riding, is that you can go from highways to trails in the blink of an eye – or a slight adjustment of your tire pressure and ride-mode. Motorcycle.com Best of 2024
Wed, 11 Dec 2024Welcome to December, which means that ordinarily, this is where one of us blathers on about how the last 11+ months have flown by too quickly. But this year was a little special, as MO is celebrating its 30th anniversary. That’s pretty crazy, when you think about it.
