2000 BMW R1100RT (2000)
This RT has some wear and tear on it, but runs well and sound good. It should have quite a few miles left in it. It has a Remus muffler. The right mirror needs replaced. There are chips in the fairing and fender paint. The ABS light will not go out and it appears the ABS is nonfunctional. The windshield raises and lowers. It comes with saddlebags. It looks like a Russell seat has been added. Starting this auction low and reserve is reasonable for the condition of the bike. A Kansas buyer is responsible for Kansas sales tax. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours by PayPal and full payment is required within 7 days of auction end by cash, wire transfer or Cashiers Check.2013-10-23 00:33:10Wichita, Kansas, US162,000999.00

2004 BMW R-Series (2004)
Up for auction is my 2004 BMW R1200 CL. I purchased this bike in 2005 from the BMW dealer in OKC and am the second owner. I put less than 1000 miles on it and put it in storage along with other bikes and cars. I recently sold my storage facility and am selling my bikes and one of the cars. The R1200 CL was BMW's ill fated attempt to capture the Harley cruiser market and as they soon discovered, Harley riders just don't buy BMWs. As a result there are not many of these bikes around making them very rare indeed. It's a shame though because what a bike! It runs down the road with the best of them and that unmistakable oil head purr! The bike is a traveler's dream with AM/FM/CD, electronic cruise control, heated grips and seat, cruise control and plenty of storage for everything you could need for a week long excursion. The tool kit is complete along with the original owners manual and various supplements. Everything works as it should with the exception of the latch on the left side baggage compartment which does not engage with the handle mechanism. There is a faint and small scratch on the left side baggage compartment just under the locking mechanism. So not only is the R1200CL a rare bike, this is one of a handful with less than 7,000 miles! Thank you for looking and please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have.2016-08-19 04:52:34Wichita, Kansas, United States632000

What’s The Deal With KTM Camshafts?
Fri, 18 Oct 2024Motorcycle.com digs for the truth behind the 790 camshaft hullabaloo Photo by Sebas Romero The internet can be a cruel place sometimes. Keyboard warriors, safe behind the anonymity of their computer screens, can spew words without much thought about the facts or the far reaches of where their words could be seen or heard. What’s worse, seemingly innocent or off-the-cuff remarks can be picked up by a third party and spread like wildfire.

2025 Honda NT1100 Updated for Europe, but Still Not Coming Here
Fri, 04 Oct 2024More than 12,000 sold since 2022, but 0 in North America Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Honda has updated one of its most popular models in Europe, but it’s still not coming to North America. We’ve heard that refrain a lot over the years, and it’s no different for the NT1100 sport-tourer. Introduced in Europe in 2022, the NT1100 is a sport-touring model that shares much of its bones with the CRF1100L Africa Twin.
2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 – First Look
Wed, 02 Oct 2024The Svartpilen 801 has a new roadster-styled sibling, as Husqvarna announces the new “White Arrow” Vitpilen 801. Like the Black Arrow, the Vitpilen adopts the 799cc LC8c Parallel-Twin of the KTM 790 Duke, offering yet a new option to the shared platform. Ryan Adams recently reviewed the Svartpilen 801 and found it a “worthy contender in the market that brings its own unique style alongside proven performance.” That theme continues with the new Vitpilen, which brings its own take, with more aggressive ergonomics and a bright splash of color in yellow (a silver color is also available if you prefer something less flashy).

2024 GS Trophy – Preparing to Welcome the Regions
Fri, 13 Sep 2024Welcome to basecamp BMW saw it fit to invite the world’s media to Namibia ahead of the competitors to get setup, settled, and vetted. As I looked out the window while our plane descended toward Windhoek, I couldn’t help but to notice the similarity in terrain to the American west. In the shuttle toward camp, the sentiment was the same as we made our way north.

Harley's DEI Climbdown Isn't the Woke-ism Defeat You Think it Is
Wed, 21 Aug 2024You may have seen this week that Harley-Davidson has decided to shelve its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Ostensibly, this action came as a result of criticism the company received from right-wing activists - certainly that's the way it's being reported in most media outlets. The thing is, I'm pretty sure that's incorrect.
