1969 BMW R-Series (1969)
1969 R60US in same hands since new. Owner just pasted and I am helping the widow sell the machine. Bike sat for about a year before I took it and had it serviced, tank flushed, carbs cleaned and all fluids renewed. I have ridden it about a hundred miles in the last month to look for defects and found none. This is an original bike owned by the local BMW motorcycle dealership founder. Slingers were cleaned 600-650 miles ago, about 5 years. Tires look good but date code puts them at more than 10 years old. Small ding on the tail light can, Ask your questions. 1976 BMW R-Series (1976)
Restored, numbers matching 1976 R75/6 BMW 750cc Airhead with 36,814 original miles. This motorcycle has no dings or dents; all new paint/clear coat with hand-painted pin stripes. Garage kept Arizona bike with no rust. Rare S-Fairing with working clock, working volt meter and new windshield. The top end has been resealed per factory specs. Continental tires have 1500 miles on them. All rubber pieces on the bike have been replaced. New cables, alcohol proof float kits and mirrors. Wheels have been trued and ride very nicely. All engine seals and o-rings replaced. All new handlebar switch pods on both left and right sides. DynaIII electronic ignition. Koni shocks in the rear and Progressive springs up front. Reynolds Rack with a very nice newer set of locking Krauser hard panniers included. The bike also has the original toolkit, owners manual, air pump and BMW factory rag. Valves were adjusted 1K ago. The engine oil, gearbox oil and final drive oil just changed. *Mileage may vary a little (~15 miles/week), as I take it out for short Sunday cruises.**Corbin seat shows some wear, but is comfortable. Right side Krauser bag is missing a stick-on emblem.A nice example of a great-running, very distinct, vintage motorcycle.2016-07-11 05:01:43Tucson, Arizona, United States3617000

What’s The Deal With KTM Camshafts?
Fri, 18 Oct 2024Motorcycle.com digs for the truth behind the 790 camshaft hullabaloo Photo by Sebas Romero The internet can be a cruel place sometimes. Keyboard warriors, safe behind the anonymity of their computer screens, can spew words without much thought about the facts or the far reaches of where their words could be seen or heard. What’s worse, seemingly innocent or off-the-cuff remarks can be picked up by a third party and spread like wildfire.

2025 Honda NT1100 Updated for Europe, but Still Not Coming Here
Fri, 04 Oct 2024More than 12,000 sold since 2022, but 0 in North America Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Honda has updated one of its most popular models in Europe, but it’s still not coming to North America. We’ve heard that refrain a lot over the years, and it’s no different for the NT1100 sport-tourer. Introduced in Europe in 2022, the NT1100 is a sport-touring model that shares much of its bones with the CRF1100L Africa Twin.
2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 – First Look
Wed, 02 Oct 2024The Svartpilen 801 has a new roadster-styled sibling, as Husqvarna announces the new “White Arrow” Vitpilen 801. Like the Black Arrow, the Vitpilen adopts the 799cc LC8c Parallel-Twin of the KTM 790 Duke, offering yet a new option to the shared platform. Ryan Adams recently reviewed the Svartpilen 801 and found it a “worthy contender in the market that brings its own unique style alongside proven performance.” That theme continues with the new Vitpilen, which brings its own take, with more aggressive ergonomics and a bright splash of color in yellow (a silver color is also available if you prefer something less flashy).

2024 GS Trophy – Preparing to Welcome the Regions
Fri, 13 Sep 2024Welcome to basecamp BMW saw it fit to invite the world’s media to Namibia ahead of the competitors to get setup, settled, and vetted. As I looked out the window while our plane descended toward Windhoek, I couldn’t help but to notice the similarity in terrain to the American west. In the shuttle toward camp, the sentiment was the same as we made our way north.

Harley's DEI Climbdown Isn't the Woke-ism Defeat You Think it Is
Wed, 21 Aug 2024You may have seen this week that Harley-Davidson has decided to shelve its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Ostensibly, this action came as a result of criticism the company received from right-wing activists - certainly that's the way it's being reported in most media outlets. The thing is, I'm pretty sure that's incorrect.
