Cleaning out the garage - I'm downsizing to a condominium and the bikes have to go. I am the 2nd owner of this bike which I bought in 2004 from a private party with 4K miles on it. I added the BMW right & left system cases and wider & taller windscreen from Wunderlich. It has normal wear & tear but no damage (never been down) and everything works as it should. It's due for new tires (last new set went on 7K miles ago); still some tread there but I did have to plug a hole in the rear recently so it's a good idea to replace both. Bike may have a few more miles on it when you get it as it is my daily driver to and from work weather permitting (~12 miles round trip). Fri, 20 Dec 2024The 1290 Super Duke was already a ridiculous motorcycle with the amount of power it had, all wrapped up in a fairing-less package. I thought we had reached peak levels of power, torque, and displacement – especially in naked bikes – and the industry would shift its attention towards electronics to make it all manageable. But then KTM went and threw the playbook out the window with this, the 1390 Super Duke.

Mon, 18 Nov 2024Long-haul touring models have yet to receive Road Glide and Street Glide updates Harley-Davidson recently updated its Street Glide and Road Glide models, introducing a number of changes including new fairing designs with integrated lighting. While not every one is a fan of the new batwing or shark nosed fairings, it does seem odd that the new fairings hadn’t yet made their way to the Road Glide Limited and Ultra Limited models. Triumph Unveils Two New Rocket 3 Evel Knievel Limited Editions
Tue, 12 Nov 2024Imagine if Evel jumped one of these... Triumph has unveiled two new limited edition Rocket 3 motorcycles today, both paying tribute to the one and only Evel Knievel. While mechanically the same as the standard Rocket 3s, the Evel editions have full chrome fuel tanks with a stars and stripes livery inspired by Evel's white jumpsuits.
