Bike has been well maintained, all records available to show this, by professional mechanics (Bob's BMW, MD; Tom Turnbal, Baltimore). I'm the second owner and enjoyed it for 6 months before deciding I wanted a speed bike. Bike runs perfectly, starts every time, needs nothing mechanically. Metzler Lasertech tires have plenty of tread left. Additions: round headlight setup (seen in photo) is easy to assemble, I have all parts; Vetter "Quicksilver" fairing and saddlebags available, with keys; full bmw toolkit. Issues: speedometer (works) but needle broke. This bike is ton of fun to ride, extremely reliable, and will run for literally hundreds of thousands of miles longer.

He's done a very nice job of caring for it along with adding most all of the stuff you'd want on a bike that is capable of being ridden anywhere as the original owner left it basically as stock when acquired.The extras are also what make this example with under 10,000 original miles really special.

Despite that good fortune we've not had one available more often that we'd like. With just a little over 10,000 miles this one is barely broken in so it makes for an exceptionally good value by comparison to most other used examples most of our previous offerings while in excellent shape still had 25,000 plus miles on them when they arrived.

The 2025 Vespa 946 Snake comes after last year’s 946 Dragon and 2023’s 946 Bunny as the third entry in the brand’s Lunar Collection.
