1991 BMW K-Series (1991)
1991 BMW K75s This bike is a great survivor. It is far from a show bike, but a good, well-maintained driver. I have owned the bike for about 5 years and put about 5000 miles on it. These bikes are rare, smooth sport touring machines and are very reliable. They have aluminum fuel tanks so no worries about rust in the fuel system. They are shaft drive and fuel-injected. It always starts at the push of the button. Tires are Metzler Lasers and are in good shape. This bike has had regular oil changes and air filter replacements. I am not sure how accurate the odometer is as far as original miles, but it works. As I said, the paint is not perfect and the Corbin seat shows wear, but it is a special old BMW that needs to be passed to another good home.2016-06-30 04:51:03Humboldt, Iowa, United States173,750.00 -
BMW K1200LT - Great Condition LOW MILES - 50 MPG (1999)
BMW K 1200 LT MOTORCYCLE – LOW MILES – NO RESERVE For sale is a 1999 BMW K 1200 LT in Very Good Condition. I am selling all of my bikes, because I am getting older and don’t get out that often. I have owned 7 bikes, and this one is by far my favorite. It easily handles two passengers and all of the luggage you can handle. I purchased this bike 5+ years ago, and have probably put an average of 600 miles on it per year. The tires and brakes are in excellent shape and working condition. The hard cases are in great shape and perfect working condition. I have taken excellent care of this bike, which has been garaged and covered when not in use. I have also changed the oil and filters regularly. Also included, are all of the items needed for the next service (oil, oil filter, oil filter tool, and air filter). I am also including a newer cover to shield the bike from dust and the elements. This bike is in the exact same condition that I purchased it. There are several markings on the bike that most people don’t notice. When I purchased the bike, I was making aware the cruise control occasionally disengages. Although this has happened a handful of times, it has never been enough of an issue to warrant attention (see last pictures). As NOTED ABOVE, EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE BIKE IS IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER. How To Use A Motorcycle Helmet Communicator
Wed, 05 Feb 2025Stay connected even when you’re trying to disconnect It used to be that we would hop on our motorcycles to disconnect from the world and find peace and serenity out on the open road. But now with our interconnected world, some of us have no choice but to stay tethered to the technology gods – even while riding. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing; being able to call a friend from the road, get directions piped into your ear, or listen to an actual soundtrack in addition to the one from your exhaust note all make riding more enjoyable.
KTM Sells MV Agusta Back to the Sardarov Family
Fri, 31 Jan 2025Transaction in the “mid double-digit million” euro range MV Agusta is returning to the control of a wealthy family that had previously owned the Italian brand, shortly after it had been purchased by a larger motorcycle company. If that sounds familiar, it’s what happened when the Castiglioni family regained full ownership of MV Agusta from Harley-Davidson back in 2010, after the American company had purchased it from the family in 2008. Fast forward to 2025 and history repeats itself, this time with the Sardarov family regaining 100% control of MV Agusta after KTM exercised its option to gain a majority stake just a year prior.
Limited Edition Vespa 946 Snake Celebrates Lunar New Year
Fri, 17 Jan 2025Vespa probably isn’t the brand you’d think would be celebrating the Lunar New Year and honoring the Chinese zodiac, but for the third year in a row, the Italian brand has done just that with a limited edition 946 scooter. The 2025 Vespa 946 Snake comes after last year’s 946 Dragon and 2023’s 946 Bunny as the third entry in the brand’s Lunar Collection. We can probably expect the collection to expand over the next decade to complete the Chinese zodiac’s 12 animals, with a Horse-themed model for 2026.The 946 Dragon came in a muted golden color with a bold green dragon graphic on the front shield, while the 2023 946 Bunny had a more playful look, with a lime green color and a cartoon rabbit on the shield.

Fri, 03 Jan 2025What Harley announced… and what it didn’t Harley-Davidson announced its first batch of models returning for 2025 (well, technically second batch, if you include the returning police bikes confirmed in December, so, let’s say the first batch of consumer models). These include the Road Glide, Street Glide, and Road King Special baggers, plus the Road Glide 3, Freewheeler, and Tri Glide Ultra trikes.
