Speedometer was rebuilt by Palo Alto and set at 21133 miles it now has 25751 miles.Transition was rebuilt by Engle Motors.carburetors are the new style Bings.The engine was disassembled and inspected,I replaced the rings,valves and valve springsI replaced the wheel bearings steering head bearings and swingarm bearings .     New wiring harnessAll rubber was replaced.The exhaust is reproductionPowder coated frame and swingarms.The bike was lightly crashed and has damage the valve covers,mufflers ,finder and shock tower.Tank has scratches from a magnetic tank bag.The back finder has scratches and dents from a seat. There is more that I am forgetting ,I have all receipts.Runs and rides good If you have any additional questions or need any kind of clarification, just let me know.

    Vintage BMW classic "toaster tank" R60/5 motorcycle for sale.  This is a second owner bike, I purchased this from the son of the original owner who purchased it new in 1973.  The bike is in excellent shape, clean, in unrestored original condition.  I had the cylinders off, valves replaced, and adjusted.  Runs smooth.  Carbs were rebuilt, but still drip some gas out of the overflow.  Speedometer is not operative, so mileage is not accurate, but I probably only put a couple thousand on it since I acquired it.  I registered this motorcycle a couple years ago, but I have let it expire. Even includes the original tire hand pump and tools BMW supplied with the bike when purchased. Local pickup only.  I can assist in delivery.

    Cleaning out the garage - I'm downsizing to a condominium and the bikes have to go.  I am the 2nd owner of this bike which I bought in 2004 from a private party with 4K miles on it.  I added the BMW right & left system cases and wider & taller windscreen from Wunderlich.  It has normal wear & tear but no damage (never been down) and everything works as it should.  It's due for new tires (last new set went on 7K miles ago); still some tread there but I did have to plug a hole in the rear recently so it's a good idea to replace both.  Bike may have a few more miles on it when you get it as it is my daily driver to and from work weather permitting (~12 miles round  trip).   On Sep-18-13 at 01:59:50 PDT, seller added the following information: This bike is equipped with ABS brakes.

    This motorcycle needs to used.  I have owned it 1988.  It came from “Cue” at House of Triumph in Elmsford NY with 68,000 miles on the clock..  It has always been my second bike, lightly used and garaged.  Weekend  rides have added about 6000 miles.  It now shows just over 74,000 miles.  In the fall of 2011 it underwent substantial mechanical restoration at Max BMW (Brookfield Ct)  which included rebuilding carburetors, draining and cleaning fuel tank, new brake pads and rotors at the front and new brake shoes at the rear,  new center stand, air filters, new throttle and choke cables,  new horns, new fluids (fork, brakes,  new top-end seals.  Total investment was $5100.  It has a fork brace, cafĂ© faring, original grips, lots of tread on Metzler tires.  “Easy Clutch” is installed. More than 12,000 sold since 2022, but 0 in North America Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Honda has updated one of its most popular models in Europe, but it’s still not coming to North America. We’ve heard that refrain a lot over the years, and it’s no different for the NT1100 sport-tourer. Introduced in Europe in 2022, the NT1100 is a sport-touring model that shares much of its bones with the CRF1100L Africa Twin.

The Svartpilen 801 has a new roadster-styled sibling, as Husqvarna announces the new “White Arrow” Vitpilen 801. Like the Black Arrow, the Vitpilen adopts the 799cc LC8c Parallel-Twin of the KTM 790 Duke, offering yet a new option to the shared platform. Ryan Adams recently reviewed the Svartpilen 801 and found it a “worthy contender in the market that brings its own unique style alongside proven performance.” That theme continues with the new Vitpilen, which brings its own take, with more aggressive ergonomics and a bright splash of color in yellow (a silver color is also available if you prefer something less flashy).
