This special motorcycle was Cascade BMW's (of Kirkland WA) trade show and rally bike explicitly designed and built to advertise just about every aftermarket accoutrement (most by Wunderlich, of which many are no longer produced) that could be mounted on this special cruiser.This motorcycle was then taken to Moslander Rod & Custom (www.moslanders.com)which was responsible for the extensive custom fabrication of the many billet and chrome pieces as well as the incredible custom paint job on this spectacular trade show cruiser, featuring paintwork on the tank, front and rear fenders and side body panels.Mosander’s is famous for their exotic fabrications on their Pebble Beach show cars and hold numerous awards, such as the coveted Dupont TopGun Grand Prize award. Included in the auction are (2) three ring binders of laminated documentation of the incredible build history of this special bike. Also included with this auction will be a chrome show stand by Wunderlich and a battery tender.This bike is a real head-turner and will never cease to amaze whether rolling down the boulevard or at a show or rally. Again this special motorcycle is a one of a kind professionally built, painted and maintained piece of rolling art. The OEM black leather side bags are in near mint condition and look great on or off the bike. The mileage on this bike is a very low 19,200 miles which equates to roughly 1,200 miles of use per year. Even though this bike is 16 years old, you'd never know it by it's timeless design and flawless condition. I can't imagine this bike ever depreciating as anyone who sees this one of a kind masterpiece will only lust over owning it for themselves. We’ve heard that refrain a lot over the years, and it’s no different for the NT1100 sport-tourer. Introduced in Europe in 2022, the NT1100 is a sport-touring model that shares much of its bones with the CRF1100L Africa Twin.
2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 – First Look
Wed, 02 Oct 2024The Svartpilen 801 has a new roadster-styled sibling, as Husqvarna announces the new “White Arrow” Vitpilen 801. Like the Black Arrow, the Vitpilen adopts the 799cc LC8c Parallel-Twin of the KTM 790 Duke, offering yet a new option to the shared platform. Ryan Adams recently reviewed the Svartpilen 801 and found it a “worthy contender in the market that brings its own unique style alongside proven performance.” That theme continues with the new Vitpilen, which brings its own take, with more aggressive ergonomics and a bright splash of color in yellow (a silver color is also available if you prefer something less flashy).
