Yamaha YZ description

I have up for auction my 2011 Yamaha YZ450F, I am the original owner with a clear title in hand.  This bike is heavily modified, with low hours, most likely less than 5.  The bike is in perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition.  I purchased this bike brand new when they came out in the winter, so everything was tore down and greased properly and torqued to spec.  This bike includes all stock parts, new rear tire, original tools, service manual, and some extra OEM replacement parts.  This bike is extremely fast and is an absolute blast to ride.  The only thing this bike will not include is the number plates, I keep them from every bike I've owned.  There are 2 brand new original side plates included but the bike will come without a front number plate.  There is easily 11 grand invested in this bike, and here is the list of modifications;
-FMF Factory 4.1 RCT Titanium full exhaust system with mega bomb header
-Twin Air Power Flow air filter system with new spare air filter
-Cycra Powerflow radiator shrouds
-Fastway footpegs with replaceable cleats, also height adjustable and Fastway billet brake line clip
-Hammerhead shifter and brake pedal with 10mm extentions, with folding tip on pedal and brake snake, blue replacement parts included
-TM designworks slide and glide kit with both rollers and chain block
-TM designworks case saver, rear brake caliper guard and rear brake disc guard
-Lightspeed skid plate and water pump guard
-Protaper EVO YZ high bend handlebars
-Protaper billet throttle tube
-Oury Classic grips, black
-Sunline pro clutch perch with big adjustment knob
-Sunline V1 Vince folding levers
-Sunline control clamps, spins the master cylinder and clutch perch in the event of a spill
-Quick bleeders on the front forks
-Sunstar Works rear sprocket, black, 2 brand new original rear sprockets included
-EK MRDL6 gold lightweight chain
-CV4 red radiator hose kit with stock hoses included

Spotted the link to this short film on a Dutch blog. It's beautifully shot/directed and captures GP rider Mike Duff's recovery from a horrific hip and pelvis injury suffered at the Japanese GP which cost him a six month stay in hospital. Watching him push-start makes you wince just imagining the pain he must have been in.

And it's goodbye from him

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

THIS IS Valentino Rossi's farewell letter to his Fiat Yamaha team following the announcement the flambouyant Italian is to head to Ducati MotoGP in 2011.The hand-written letter, mistakes and all, is written in almost a 'my first romance' kinda way. It's touching, if a little bizarre. Some of the letter reads:“Unfortunately even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories, like when my M1 and I kissed for the first time on the grass at Welkom, when she looked straight in my eyes and told me ‘I love you!'"Somehow, we can't see Casey Stoner gushing quite as freely when he leaves Ducati for Repsol Honda.
