1980 Yamaha 465 YZ. MX. complete as shown, rough shape, but would be great for restoration project or use as a parts bike, runs strong, but needs a throttle. clutch cable is wasted, but comes with a brand new cable, what you see is what you get, i dont know any of its history, yes, it has a clear Colorado title, not sure how or why, but it does, not that you would ever make this street legal. but a title non the less. payment. paypal, Cash, check, visa. ect. bike doesnt leave until money is in my hands. no BS, no scams.. a 250.00 down payment via paypal will be needed at the close of sale.. no exceptions.. the balance to be paid within 5 days of close of sale. Yamaha Recalls R1 and Super Tenere for Overheating Headlights
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Yamaha has started a recall campaign on 2009-2013 YZF-R1 sportbikes and 2012-2013 Super Ténéré models because of a risk of headlight failure due to overheating. The recall campaign affects 19,045 units of the R1 and 4,683 units of the Super Ténéré in the U.S. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, heat generated by the headlight bulb socket may cause the terminal ends to expand, resulting in arcing between the terminal connector and bulb contact.
Tommy Hayden to Race 2012 Daytona 200 for Graves Yamaha – Video
Fri, 16 Mar 2012Tommy Hayden has signed on to race in the 2012 Daytona 200 for the Graves Yamaha team as an replacement for injured rider Garrett Gerloff. Gerloff broke his right femur in the first Daytona Sportbike class practice session for the Daytona 200, leaving Yamaha little time to find a replacement. Hayden had raced for Yamaha before, and those old ties reconnected quickly in time for the season opening race.
