2006 Yamaha WR250 Dual Sport w/ Athena Big Bore Kit (330CC)
One hell of a bike. This is dual sport street legal in California. Just add a mirror on one side and it's street ready. Although it may be fun to rev your lil rocket thorough the streets of Downtown L.A., this is meant for the dirt. Take your bike on dual sport only trails and truly enjoy the Southern California offroad scene. Has an Athena big bore kit that pumps up the CC's to 330. A few other performance enhancements such as the aftermarket pro circuit exhaust. Just had it serviced for carb cleaning, new battery, and general service. Ready to ride. Note: This model does not have an odometer, it goes by time which says 3 hours and 5 minutes. I don't think that is accurate. Dirt bike riders should understand. |

The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.

Thu, 29 Mar 2012The last time we assembled the superbike offerings from the Big Four Japanese manufacturers to determine the alpha male model was 2009. The CBR won that confrontation, but a lot’s changed since then. For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.
