Yamaha V Star description

This Yamaha V-Star 650 bike is in good condition.  Recently had carburetor rebuilt and cleaned and the engine runs very, very well.  This is a lower to the ground bike so it is great for new riders to learn on and enjoy or the experienced rider to just enjoy.  It is a classic cruiser bike.  Plus..the power is enough to get up and go and keep up with your friends with a higher cc as the bike will easily get to 110 mph or higher.  The ride and feel of this bike is very smooth....read online reviews.

The bike has a dent in the left front of the tank and the front fender mounts will need to be straightened a bit as they are a tad out of line.  The forks are straight and even.  I believe the bike may have been "laid down" at one point in the past and this is what caused the front fender mis-alignment and dent in the tank.

Honestly, I have ridden the bike 8 miles and that is the amount of wear on both new tires.

Check my feedback.  I'm an honest E-Bayer.  No candy coating or mis-truths on my sales.  This is a great bike for the right buyer at a good price.  No shipping.  Pickup only.  Cash in hand or PayPal for payment.

BMW G310R vs Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 vs Kawasaki Z400 vs KTM Duke 390 vs Yamaha MT-03 You know what they say: It’s more fun to ride a slow motorcycle fast than a fast motorcycle slow. Yet another example of conventional wisdom baloney. It’s actually more fun to ride a fast bike fast, or even a medium-fast one.

India Raises Import Duty on Motorcycles to 75%

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

The government of India has laid out its budget for 2013-2014, increasing the import duty for large motorcycles. The news will impact several major manufacturers hoping to gain a stake in the world’s second largest motorcycle market. India has become the hotspot for manufacturers but one of the biggest obstacles they face is the duty India levies on luxury goods.
