Victory Cross Country description
2010 Victory Cross Road that was converted into a Cross Country. This is the 106 Cubic Inch 6 speed!
I purchased this as a new leftover the end of 2011 and have driven it 18,956 miles so far. To confirm this is titled as a Cross Road, I add the following: 1) front fairing from Victory 2) marine amp in fairing with an mp3 input so you can run your phone or music player 3) pouch and 12 v outlet up there. 4) 4 speakers it is loud enough to hear your tunes with a helmet on running 65+ on the highway 5) I added a garmin mount and older garmin unit for long trips. It gets the power from the side bag. 6) I added a 3 plug 12volt strip so you can run the garmin, and charge two phones if needed. 7) I also added the Victory brand quick release trunk kit kit, this cam latches on and off in just a few minutes, pictures show it also removed. 8) All items are painted with Victory midnight cherry OEM paint. 9) Cobra Pinstriping did a custom pin stripe job on it at Roar on the Shore motorcycle rally in 2014, turn out nice. 10) I also added a set of wind deflectors these help with buffeting of my glasses when my helmet is partially open, they work great. 11) I also have a set of vinyl snap in block offs for the front chrome bars, I use these if the temp gets below 50 or so, they help circulate warm engine air around your legs 12) Newer rear tire Bridgestone Exedra just added a couple months ago for PA inspection, 13) New front tire Dunlop E4 just last month Unit is located in Waterford, PA. |

Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.
