1971 Triumph Tiger (1971)
Up for grabs...1971 Triumph Tiger TR6R 650. This is a good running bike, just serviced, in nice cosmetic shape. It is fitted with a UK-style tank (newer paint on the fenders and tank), some old-school TR mufflers, and a new seat. Engine and frame numbers do match, all lights work, small tool kit is included. Mileage reads just over 6,600 and is believed to be original. Bike smokes a little from the right hand side - not mosquito fogger bad, but there's a little puff when getting on the throttle (probably rings as this bike has sat most of its life). Starts and runs fine despite this. This would be a great basis for a custom build if you're looking for a cool vintage, right-side shift Triumph. Feel free to give us a call or drop us an email and we will be happy to answer any questions - thanks for checking out our auctions! Low cost shipping may be an option, depending on your location! Please note: we will cancel any bids from bidders with less than 10 feedback. If you are interested but have less than 10 feedback, please give us a call. We are advertising this bike for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early, however, we will not end the auction once a bid is placed so bid early. Thanks! Baxter Cycle has been in business for 38 years and is a dealer for Triumphs and Royal Enfields. We sell a large variety of parts for all makes of British bikes, specializing in Triumph, BSA, and Norton. Our parts inventory grows daily. We strive to provide the highest levels of service to our customers and we always welcome any feedback.2016-07-10 04:55:19Marne, Iowa, United States628000

2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Review – First Ride
Fri, 06 Dec 2024The sportiest modern classic continues to push the performance envelope Photos by Triumph Motorcycles. Selling 20,000 units since its reintroduction in 2019, the Speed Twin had once topped the charts as Triumph’s best selling model before being unseated by the likes of the excellent standard Trident 660, and now the equally impressive TR400 machines. For 2025, the Speed Twin 1200 not only gets enhanced electronics by way of an IMU and slight styling upgrades, but is also now joined by a pointedly sport-focused RS model that ups the ante of what a modern classic is capable of.

Fri, 03 May 2024More spinning mass for the Tiger’s Triple For the 2024 model year, the US will see only the Tiger 1200 Explorer models hitting dealership floors, while our friends up north will have the Pro models only. In 2025, the whole family will be getting back together in both countries. 2024 Triumph Speed 400 & Scrambler 400 X Review – First Ride
Mon, 26 Feb 2024Two new lightweights that deliver vastly different experiences The folks in Hinckley have been busy in recent years bolstering Triumph’s reputation as a two-wheeled powerhouse of tech and performance. In the past six months or so, however, it’s also been releasing new models across its product line and entering highly competitive segments that are new to the British marque in the modern era. Now, with its new 398cc liquid-cooled, four-valve Single, the company is poised to attack the lightweight/entry-level class.
2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200 Review – First Ride
Mon, 22 Jan 2024Minor revisions for the XE with a big step forward in approachability for the X Photos Courtesy of Triumph Motorcycles Triumph is, arguably, the manufacturer who brought scrambler styling back into the limelight nearly 20 years ago now. For many of those years, it was just that, a styling exercise to capitalize on the classic cool that scramblers imbue. It wasn’t until the end of 2018 that Triumph stepped up its scrambler game in a way that truly harkened back to what the desert sleds of yore were used for – scramblin’ off the beaten path.

Fri, 12 Jan 2024Upgrades for All Since its launch in 2020, Triumph’s Tiger 900 platform has been impossible to keep out of the middleweight ADV conversation. With 45,000 sold to date, Triumph clearly didn’t need to reinvent the wheel with its 2024 models, but there are a few key revisions across both the Tiger 900 GT and Rally Pro models that really make them shine even brighter on and off road. After arriving in Malaga, Spain, Triumph sat us down for a brief presentation to tell us all about the new updates for 2024.

The big one being able to incorporate changes into the harshest environment possible and get feedback from 30 of the best test riders in the world. And when you get a general consensus that whatever you’ve done was a step in the right direction, it’s easy enough to incorporate those changes (or versions of it) into the motorcycles you and I can buy at the dealership.

Fri, 03 Mar 2023A significant engine update combined with further chassis refinement Credit: Photos by Gareth Harford, Andrew Northcott, and Chippy Wood For the previous week, I’d anxiously checked the weather reports for updates. Sandwiched in between swaths of little sun icons were two little black clouds spewing raindrops. Naturally, those were the scheduled dates for the US press to ride the 2024 Triumph Street Triple 765 R and RS on the Andalusian backroads and the famed Circuito de Jerez Angel Nieto in southern Spain.
