1969 triumph 650 trophy sport completely dismantled and rebuilt every thing new  bought from Texas four years ago not matching numbers seller never  stated left side case blown apart from primary explosion I would not mix match cases so new cases were bought all machine work done professionally new crank, bearings  valves pistons rods  ETC all new. New cloth harness electronic ignition all original bolts and hardware cad plated new tires,  brakes front end bushings ,seals and chains.Most chrome redone. Original sheet metal 3.5 touring tank .new seat cover and battery paint.. Everything gone thru Cant build this bike for my reserve sold as is. buyer pays shipping and crating costs no international shipping. being shown locally so I reserve right to end auction early. Really nice bike runs very well cant find to many as original as this one  you can ask questions about anything I might have forgotten  ican be reached at973 620 7710 steve

Trip Facts Trip Duration – 7 days Total miles covered - 1200 Total spent on fuel – £137 Average distance per pound - 8.75 Miles Total spent on ferry £45 return Dover to Calais Total miles to date 7500 Last month I took a week out and headed over to Liege in Belgium for the 2010 International Police rally. I jumped on a Ferry to Calais, turned left to Dunkirk, Brussels then on to Liege to meet up with the British team. Triumph sent a tank bag specifically made for the Speed Triple to help out on the trip.

I should have filed this blog an hour earlier but I became distracted by the human circus that is the Jeremy Kyle show. It’s a shameful admission, I know, but I’m a firm believer in the policy of honesty being the best. Enjoying the luxury of working from home, I was only making myself a bacon sandwich with the TV on in the background when excited cries of ‘Freak, Freak!’ from Mrs MF drew my attention to this (see pic).

The weather was pretty good over the weekend and I managed to get 500 miles in and become better acquainted with the Speed Triple. I’m still running it in but as it’s reputation suggest the bike doesn’t disappoint. There are some noticeable differences over most other naked bikes I’ve ridden, you could call them quirks, but i'll talk about those in a week or so.
